i don't think anyone really wants to see him traded. i think people just get frustrated with him when the team struggles because he's the captain and he has the personality of a rotting deer carcass and it makes people think he doesn't care. if you look back, people had the same attitude with Koivu, Damphousse, Turgeon... it's what happens when your captain is relatively one dimensional offensive player with zero charisma. but i don't think anyone is actually stupid enough to not know how effective he is as a player.
