They had moments in the third when they tried to even the score

Can't really judge Julien after a 45 minutes practice...I think we'll see more of the coach change effect this week. They need to find secondary scoring fast or they could be outside of a playoff spot rapidly.

That's why he hasn't done anything to the roster, they could find themselves on the outside looking in by the time the deadline rolls around. They've lost 8 of 9 and look like anything but contenders, what's the point of giving away young players...

without question. i love the move, especially long term. but for this season i'm not sure if he has enough time to get this ship righted.

they get their confidence back by generating chances, getting a garbage goal... the coach telling them keep shooting it will come is pee-wee/beer league

sounds like Price looked sharper than he has in many weeks so that is definitely something that could be fixed, and Montreal's defensive organization became a catastrophe over the last 2 months with Therrien. that's something i fully expect Julien to address and we should see Montreal's GA start to stabilize. you're right about the secondary scoring, it won't change. but if everything else falls into place they can win games without it.

agreed about the defense, that is something coaching has an influence on. seems like with their other problems it was a glaring issue being ignored by most
