Erikson has been bad but Lucic is/ will be WAY worse
- CanuckDon

I don't care if Lucic was going to score 50 goals this season, we still made the right choice.......between the two.

I still wish we had signed Brouwer...

If they were going to sign a free agent that was my choice. My first choice was not to sign any god damn free agents.

I certainly didn't want any of the top tier guys but I thought he would at the very least add some grit to the top 6.

Lucic is a piece of poop, and he would of been the wrong choice regardless of his production.

Despite Brouwer having underwhelming stats, he could provide that much needed grit and came in at a much lower cost/term.

That's the part i take issue with.
If he produced 50 goals, added the 'grit' that you seem to value, i don't see how the move could be criticized.

but that's just me.

Exactly, who the (frank) is going to represent a cool beard when we make the playoffs?

Skille?

I hope everyone just rocks the Sedin goatee out of solidarity.

Well he better start on his beard because I won't support weak facial hair on this team.

Seems the choice was on the players. Reports at the time had JB wanting all 3 of them. Only LE was willing to take the money to come to a team projected to fail.

McGinn might be available. 14 points in 50 games with the Coyotes and was healthy-scratched last night in their win over the Kings.
