IF you're in the GTA you may well have a giant puddle come monday. Nice work though... is that taking up the whole of your yard?
When he can raise the puck in a few years your neighbours will be like me... listening to the kids next door hitting the fence with pucks... sounds like gunshots!

We will see how she goes......I think I have at least a foot of ice, so I'm not too worried, especially if it goes below zero at night.

If you get a light colored, preferably white, tarp, and cover the ice leaving a foot or more of space between the ice and the tarp, with a foot of ice you can be skating in June as long as you keep the ice covered during the day. Ok, maybe not June, but for a while at night as long as it's not too warm.

Indeed, my Dad used to build us a rink when I was a kid ... back in the sixties!

I'm now an old fart but my brothers and I have never forgotten these magical moments with our Dad (God rest his soul) and I'm sure your boy will never either.
