I don't know where all the hate for Carrick comes from. A lot of people tell me they dislike him. But as someone else pointed out. He's a rookie playing bottom minutes. With a crap partner. He is a positive player. You don't hear his name too much which is good. And the thing I love most about this kid? It's the fact every single game forwards on the other team hate him. A lot of scrums start from players going after carrick. I'm not sure what he's doing but he must be a pest out there because everyone seems to hate him. And I love that. great number five d man. But if the offensive skills come along he can move up to that second pairing from time to time. And also. Martin should show him how to throw a few punches if he's gonna keep pissing everyone off.

He's playing 2nd pairing with a partner that carries him most nights. Not sure what you've been watching this year. He's played ok...some nights he's been gawd awful, he will be better when we slide him to the 3rd pair. IMO
