Thanks for the input, I've always been a big Kadri supporter (I think a combo of his shooting % going up and the Leafs having more than 1 offensive line has helped his output).

Rielly has been somewhat of a disappointment I do agree.

I picked Carrick simply because I expected him to produce more, his D play has been good enough to get the job done.

Carrick is a disappointment? I'm disappointed in you Lucas. He's a rookie who plays bottom pairing minutes and does his job extremely well. You hardly ever hear his name which also means he hardly ever (frank)s up.

On the Marlies a large chunk of his points were on the PP which basically never plays.

I've been very excited about Carrick's development this year. I think we have four real legit D-men in Reilly, Zaitsev, Gardiner and Carrick.

Kadri has always been good..he is getting the results this season sure. New coach, better system and linemates help. But he has always been very good

And I dont think Rielly is a #1 or will ever be one. His D results are just too poor

I think what you're trying to say is that the Analytics people foresaw this season that Kadri is having. Basically, analytics as a tool to predict potential success.....key words: a tool to predict....He was decent last year...but now he's actually excellent.

By no means am I dismissing the Hero chart. I'm just saying, Kadri is having a great season, a consistent season where those hero chart trends are actually translating into results on the scoresheet.

Its no different than with your boy skinner. He's a solid player....that I think will contend one day for a scoring title. The analytics seem to say so anyways so it wouldn't surprise me one day he goes off on a 90 point season.
