I honestly never get out of mind with any player besides Nash. I loved Michael Grosek for some reason - Slimtj100
One of my favorite Rangers, Shane Churla. I know, it makes no sense. |

The Rangers have no center depth in the organization. None, zip, zilch. If they trade Stepan in the off-season, they would have to either get some center back in trade, or sign someone. - Pete V
I'm not going to keep repeating it, I get it. But I say get a young center back in return. Before Fabbri got hurt would u have done Fabbri and Shattenkirk for Stepan? U don't have to answer but I realize we need a guy to replace him. |

I'm trying to think if there was a Ranger I have ever really hated. The closest I could come up with was B. Boyle(sorry Brian), but that was more like extreme displeasure. I know it was probably irrational, but he bugs me. - mdw7413
I have to go with Dan Boyle, Brad Richards and Ulf Samuelsson.
Boyle because he refused to admit he was slipping and put his own ego ahead of the teams goals
Brad Richards for his buck teeth, and another guy that hung on too long and never volunteered to give up his ice time for the betterment of the team.
Ulf Samuelsson because he was so damn cheap and dirty. |

Was this site around during the lindros fluery McCarthy days? I can't imagine the uproar then. At least this group of players has given us something, in hindsight aside from not winning the cup they pretty much did everything you could expect and it's thats not easy no matter how you slice it |

I give a ton of credit to Sather and Co. Never understood the hate directed at them. |

I just wanted to name an obscure Ranger that I, for some reason, knew off the top of my head. |

This blog really sucks when you can't express frustrations, when we uncover all those Cups we've won in the last 10-20 years I'll be relieved until then I won't be satisfied with regular season win streaks while continually losing prideful games |

Tough standard, Vin. If that's the standard, wouldn't you have to hate every player, GM and coach not involved with the 1994 Cup team post-1940s?

While I can sympathize with the fact that we haven't won a damn thing since 94, I just can't wrap my head around the bashing after each and every loss. This team is currently the 5th best in the league. Are they expected to win every game during the season? Everything doesn't always need to be unicorns and rainbows, but come on already. Enough of the doom and gloom. Last nights loss wasn't anybodies fault. It was just a loss. One game during the season. And how about instead of try to ship out a vital piece of this team day after day, we give credit where credits due. THIS TEAM IS IN 5TH PLACE DAMMIT. Enjoy it! |

Well I like Neil Smith and thinks he's been treated unfairly for a long time while Keenan who gave up on them I really could care less for, Espo was a terrible GM and the only other coach I really liked in my lifetime is probably Renney, he was the first coach after the lockout
Sather talked a lot and if it wasn't for he cap we'd be doing the same thing year after year, trying to buy a Cup |

It's a tough standard no doubt, but every season should be disappointing if you don't reach your ultimate goal. In the blink of an eye it has been 22 years + since they last won the cup.
Maybe hate is too strong of a word for some but fans can certainly been disappointed with the results no?
We all know Presidents trophy's, regular season awards, and accolades are "Nice" but everyone wants the Cup and their is nothing wrong with a fan who expresses his anger at not winning. Its his right and everyone else's to have their own emotions and opinions.
This is not directed at any individual, rather a note for all of us that people can have their own opinions and feelings. There isn't a right and a wrong; they are your own and you are entitled to feel they way you want about the team and its success or lack of success. |

I think that's an over reaction itself, I don't destroy them after every loss, I do my fair share of defending players especially Girardi and the coach but I can't make excuses as easily as most, that's all I've seen for Step and last nights common looking loss to the Isles, honestly I don't know they're 5th, they rarely play a 60 minute game, I don't think they're playing to their potential |

And regarding my concerns about Step, he's up to 43 turnovers, 6 more than his career high in an 82 game season, he's never had this as a negative and I think that's why these "slumps" look a bit different, I hope he snaps out of it |

I tried to keep it at a high level, I really did. I keep telling myself, don't respond to the comments, don't respond to the comments, don't respond to the comments. Only way I don't get sucked into the vortex hell of my blog after a loss. Sometimes bad after a win, but exponentially worse after a loss. |
