Would you do the trade?

Are you willing to have 7 million in cap space taken up until he's 35/36 years old?

With young players like Kreider, Hayes, Miller, Buch, Zib, Zucc, Vesey a player like Gropp might find it hard to crack this lineup for a while. Him going on a run now might be a blessing for trade value. I don't want to trade him but if a team views him highly might not be a bad move

I don't mind trading Gropp, but at some point we have to stop trading all of our prospects/picks. We have a fairly young team, and even life after hank looks good with some solid goalie prospects.

Yea we should trade proven veterans like Stepan or McDonagh instead

Stepan is proven to score 55 pts a season and win 46% of his faceoffs for 6.5 million a year but let's not start that one again.

His career high is 57, with seasons of 55 points in 68 games and 44 points in 48 games

He's averaged 58 points per season for his entire career. 60 points if you remove his rookie year.

6.5 million is dirt cheap. This is 2017, not 2007. Toews makes 10.5mm a year. Almost double Stepan.

Toews has led his team to multiple cups. Let's not make that comparison

There's a team in Brooklyn with a superstar center. Why don't you go root for them.

Here we go. Ur right, logic says there's a good chance Stepan gets moved in the offseason. But if u even suggest trading someone ur not a Rangers fan. Makes sense.
