Give Grabs a chance on pp already guy has 26g and with his speed and more open ice maybe he can give pp a jolt it desperately needs.

I don't think you want to overplay Grabner. I think leave him as the primary cog of a great penalty killing unit. These guys will get going on the PP.

True great point. But its so frustrating to watch cause you can see his puckhandling ability and talent he has and its just not happening now some of it is luck. But I cant say its injury as bad as it was I feel he's played enough games now to flow back in his game.

That's the funny thing about the PP vs the PK... there's only more open ice for the PKing team, and actually less open ice than normal for the team on the PP. Grabner's speed is wasted on the PP, but is the perfect PK weapon.

I have seen Scott Arniel should be fired

I have seen Stepan and Zibinajed should be put on the 4th line

I have seen Marc Staal should be shot

All this and at least you guys are a good team, with real players, and a real coach, and a real front office.

Is this a jab at the Flyers current position?

Sure is.

Getting sick of the lack of creativity, direction, etc.

On NBCSN, Darren Dreger said that the asking price for Kevin Shattenkirk, as a rental, is "incredibly high" and features a prospect and a first round pick.

Dreger added that a third piece may even need to be added depending on the draft pick or prospect.

If that's the asking price, I wonder if they'd accept Gropp and a 1st and 2nd. It's an overpayment but this draft sucks and I'd be tempted to get him without giving up a roster player

Only problem is we don't have a 2nd this year. And next years draft is supposed to be good.

I would keep as many picks as possible next year. That's going to be a deep draft.

I'd rather sign a defensive defenseman to play with McD and if we can sign Shattenkirk in the offseason, which I'm not convinced we should do depending on the years and dollars. Look at the past few deadlines and what we've traded away. Have to start thinking about the future a little. Alot of the picks/loss has been offset by Vesey/Hayes but we're not always going to be that lucky.

1st 2nd Duclair J.Moore
Yandle 4th

2 1sts Cally
MSL 2nd

2 2nds Saarella
E.Staal

At the same time, Duclair and John Moore haven't done much in the league so far. Trading Callahan saved the Rangers from a very bad contract. MSL got them to the cup finals that year. All those first round picks would have been in the 22-30 range. It really wasn't that bad.

With young players like Kreider, Hayes, Miller, Buch, Zib, Zucc, Vesey a player like Gropp might find it hard to crack this lineup for a while. Him going on a run now might be a blessing for trade value. I don't want to trade him but if a team views him highly might not be a bad move
