Yea those are 2 good bets... i figure with Schultz going down they would maybe favor DP's offensive skill and finally give him some half decent NHL time this year. - nelson911
Might as well give him some run before the trade deadline. |

I'm with you - if we're going to trade him at least let him play a few games and hopefully he performs well and increases his value marginally. |

i have such a man crush on Trouba. I wish we found a way to pry him away when he was available. |

Cmon Grinder, now is the time to be rubbing 40+ saves in all our faces. Could/would Muzza be able to do that??

I just like to point out how this hoy paloy of pens fans really pick and choose their battles when it comes to old time hockey. If the Jets/blue jackets/ anybody plays us hard and physical everything is dirty and they are garbage. Malkin actually does do something dirty and dangerous 2 games in a row and everyone ignores it. Flower is going no where until the offseason. Never was. |

There is too much dirty play unsanctioned in the NHL. Haven't seen what Geno did in either but I did see a couple of posters say they thought his hit the other day was illegal. But as you know this is Wilson territory & unless he says it was armed robbery then it must be ok!
Now what can we get for Flower in the off season?? (Not playing him as our #1 is hurting him & reducing his value in my opinion). |

It was a dirty hit, elbow out, left the feet, interference, shoulda been and was a penalty. Don't really know what you are talking about. |

According to DK's site, DP has been playing really well in WB. If that's the case, it wouldn't surprise me if he gets the call. |

This game was a joke. Congrat's to Sid. Malkin should have been tossed for that head shot on Wheeler. Letang get's nothing for shooting a puck at the ref. Fantom holding call on Buff that leads to Kessel's goal to tie the game. Franking ref's suck in this league |

I noticed that too. They mentioned how a lot of defenseman like Dumo took a long time. And you could put maatta in that camp a bit now too. |

As far as suspensions go.
I'd give Malkin 3 games. I'd give Bfuglyien 1 game. |

Buff's hit happens 10 times a game. It was just a guy "rubbing" a guy into the boards. Schultz turned his back. The only reason Schultz got hurt is because Buff has like 80 lbs on the dude. Letang did the exact same play to Laine in the 3rd. That happens all the time. No reason for a suspension, players get hurt. It's hockey.
Geno.. I dunno, it was interference, elbowing, left the feet... it was pretty bad. But the NHL won't even look at it I bet. |

This is every game. They tried to let them play, almost lost complete control, and then tried to make up for it. Horrible. |

I'd keep him down. Maybe he just needs confidence and seasoning down there and not jumping up and down. |

Yeah and Buff should have been tossed for boarding, so what is your point. The Jets had more power plays than the Pens in the game. Go cry elsewhere, the fact that the refs in the NHL suck is not lost on anyone. |

The refs are the ones that should be looked after this game. They let the game get completely out of control not calling any late hits or crap after the whistle. They just kept letting it go and then this happens. The NHL won't do crap to Geno. If Nyquist's suspension was 6 games for nearly ending a guy's career, Geno's fine should be $5. |
