To the credit of the players, they looked like they were trying tonight. To the credit of the coach, he tried some stuff. Changing up the lines. There was the first real change I've seen to the Power Play since Jagr played here. Unfortunately I think the seven Dmen try hurt the team. I felt like there was a mix mash of confusion all night. The Jordan Weal injury didn't help. |

God, Coots...as you guys love to call him, really has the offensive ability of a plastic bag. I think I'm past the point where I'm waiting for him to step up as the player he was supposed to be. |

Yeah well i am tired of the captain throwing blind pucks in the defensive zone only to have them turnover and go in our net. Its been happening way too much. |

Don't get me started on G. I think he should honestly take himself out of the lineup for the better of the team. He's just wasting a roster space at this point and I'm sure the Flyers' hockeybuzz spokesperson will voice his opinion on this, but throw in someone who is hungry trying to make a statement FFS. |

Well that pretty much makes the Flyers sellers...if they weren't already. Wonder if Hexy can fleece anyone at the deadline for some of these wastes of ice time. |

Manning lost the fight but he answered the bell..cant be easy going with a guy that much bigger than you.. - opeth_pa
Unless your Dereyk Engelland using Shelleys face as a punching bag. Then it's simple fighting a guy bigger than you |

The Flyers aren't sellers. They're gonna trade the same players they planned on trading regardless of the outcome of the season. |

Haskol cannot see that Couturier is useless on the PP and does not belong in the top six Fire him as this is unacceptable |

Maybe he's not.
But then if you want someone else taking his minutes who would it be?
Cousins?
Bellemare?
Schenn?
I actually think you have seen improvement in his game. He's one of the rare guys on this team who seems to continually gain the offensive zone with the puck. He actually played a solid game last night. |

I know people say we can't move Giroux. I looked at the Phanuef trade to Ottawa. I think I would do that to get out of that contract. This isn't about the now anymore. They have to look to the future. And the future doesn't need to be 5-6 years down the road. |

I haven't been able to watch much the last few months, so I kind of got to look things from first part of the season vs last night
WTF?
They have no idea what to do in their own zone. Who to pick up, where to stand. Hell they can't even seem to figure out when the right time to break out is.
They looked like you picked 18 guys from 18 different rec leagues and made them play together after introducing themselves on the bench.
Forget scoring. If you can figure out how to play and make decisions in your own zone, you won't have a good foundation to build out from.
Very disappointing |

To me the irder of issues on this team go
1. Goalies because they have been consistently inconsistent all year
2. Inabilty to score..cant have G, Coots, Jake, Schenn, Simmonds going black hole so much
3. Defensive zone breakdowns
All just different levels of wtf is going on
