Expecting too much from Guhle right away would be a huge mistake
He probably should get some AHL time

Anaheim, Nashville & Minnesota are particularly in a bad spot
Winnipeg, and some others like the AVs are gonna have to make a move or protect 4 defensemen as well

We should be able to buy at a reasonable price bc there will be a lot of teams that need to make some sort of move

Nice game, would have liked a little more urgency at times. But that is the. Most complete. Game all year only allowed 4 shots in the 2nd. Really didn't notice any of there stars. All night, they are Really a bad team

I agree, the Sabres skated well, there were a lot of chances, Eichel played well even though some of the plays he set up just missed. Just because the Avs goalie played well doesn't make it boring.

He missed the net a lot last year though, before the rib injury. It seems like he's getting closer now….not shooting from the faceoff circles as much.

He was also coming off major shoulder surgery last year, and he did pick up his game quite significantly in the 2nd half of last year.

Bailey and e-rod played really good games tonight as well. Very noticeable in person

Sabres sitting 3 points out of the last WC, 4 out of 3rd in the Atlantic and Marner injured last night. 2 more vs. the west, who the Sabres own this year, before the bye, but they are now tied for most games in the EC as I warned a month ago. Holy S, next 6 games all vs. the WC. No more for the rest of the season.

Well, unfortunately, those 2 western teams ( Hawks and Blues) own us!
It's going to take an complete effort, and more, to generate points in the next 2 games coming up.

That was one of the best performances this year. Could have easily been 6-1. Great to see the Sabres rise above the level of the opponent and dominate. Good stuff
