I read it as JVR is not a fair comparison to Marchand and that Oshie and Marchand are more comparable. Could be wrong though.

You're right. JVR is terrible defensively. I mean that, no sarcasm. But I just don't see Lindholm as being a great top pairing guy. That's just how I feel about it.

Trade deadline is 13 days away, and for once, I don't know what I want the Leafs to do before it. First time since the lockout season, that the Leafs are in that position where player management mistakes could cost them.

I'm a big fan of Lindholm's. He is probable the most underrated defenseman in the league. He won't put up a lot of points, but does everything else.

Tough to watch too many of their games on this coast too so understandable.
