Dumo is Letang's partner on the first pair. How does he go from that to sitting - jchst22
Because he's not having that great of a season IMO. His GA60 is higher than his GF60. Scoring chances about even. I think he has regressed and should be middle pairing. |

Shero loved pouliot enough to take him 8th overall...the devils need a defenseman after trading Larsson...Hall for Pouliot |

I thought Jake Geuntzel had a terrific game last night. It seemed he had the puck on his stick all night and was making things happen. He is doing a lot of what Hagelin would bring to that line but is a much better finisher. |

Only 6 games for Nyquist - jchst22
Nhl player safety are chumps... don't have balls to really suspend anyone. |

100% agreed. He looked quite good next to Sid. But it was against the Canucks... |

I don't think there is any chance Dumo sits. I could see them moving Fehr for a guy like Lovejoy at the deadline. I am not saying the Rev, just a player like that. Pens have a lot of money tied on up people not playing for them. MAF and Fehr are just eating cap space right now. |

Every article I have read saying JR is looking for a top 4 D as first priority. Helping out the forwards is secondary. That's why I think a landeskog/Barrie is the best option plus it doesn't hurt the pens chemistry. Yes you would lose MAF as a locker room guy but he deserves to be on a team starting. And maatta can have a change of scenery. Plus landeskog plays pk and pp. that's always a plus to have a guy like him on team. |

Would still need to find another Dman...I don't want any of those Wilks guys having to play during the playoffs. Last year, the Pens had some solid depth at D. This year its paper thin. Last year, Daley went down and we had Schultz step in and play well. |

I wish we could somehow get Bortuzzo back. Hes signed for 2 years on a good contract, plays both sides and really has become more of a hockey player than a tough guy but will still try and kill jagrs old ass if the opportunity presents itself. |

So where would they go?
Right now, nobody knows. The Barclays exit isn’t a done deal, so it’s always possible that they could find a way to stay, although at this point it’s hard to see how anybody would want that. They could revisit that Queens idea, even though it didn’t get much traction when it first came up last year. They could even move in with the Rangers for a while.
So just imagine that, MSG being the 'home' team for the Islanders!!! |

Funny thing about MSG the stock. Market cap 4.1 billion. 1.5 billion in cash. Own the rangers, the knicks and the arena. Being that the clippers got sold to a bored billionaire for 2.2 billion you could imagine what the knicks would sell for to a bored billionaire. Problem is they have a 2 share class structure. All the votes for change of control are with class B shares and Dolan (they own like 900 milliion in stock but all the voting rights). If you could figure out how to remove dolan and auction off the teams to better ownership basically a bored billionaire who needs something to do you could make a killing. I could see the knicks, rangers, and arena being worth 7-10. And in nyc you would be a god for getting rid of dolan. Most loved person in the city. |

What is up with these sarcastic comments on almost every RW blog? You even a flyers fan? - DeflatedPucks
I am a huge Flyers fan, I just happen to like the Penguins as well.
RW, back when he was a poster, didn't have Tanner-esque posts. Now that he's a blogger, he goes for either a) over-the-top title, b) tongue in cheek title, c) cheeky title, or d) recap with hand-picked fancy stats.
That's all fine, he's welcome to do it as long as Ek keeps him on staff, but I just find his method of writing akin to a petulant child, and choose to respond in kind. |

If they don't get a new publicly funded arena, something tells me another market will step up to the plate. That's the way of pro sports these days. Build it or we will leave.
It's a good thing the NHL is expanding with franchises like the Isle and Yotes doing so well. |
