I agree but in a game like that we needed Eichel to step up. It's clear at this stage of his career Sam is just a very good complimentary piece. Incapable in my eyes of taking over the game like Kane or Eichel can. Heck even Risto can take over a game. He hasn't brought anything that special in months! I'm harder on Eichel and rightful so. High expectations.

He's 20 and he can't finish off the passes he makes. Reinhart, Kane and mccabe missed - they score on 2 or 3 of those passes and he does take over the game. His Stickhandking was sloppy but to say his playmaking was missing is wrong

six years of no hockey playoffs 17 of no football.. just kind of sick of losing. Not willing to wait anymore. This team should be in the playoffs right now if we just had some capable defenders. We don't have to be a complete team. Just get a better consistent effort from our forwards and maybe get 1 more defenceman. It's just frustrating looking at how easy we cold be in the playoffs right now with how weak our division is

We need growth, speed, skill developing towards a team of skill, speed, toughness and solid D.

We don't have the D right now, not even close. You can be a realist and a fan
