anyone know the status on wikstrand? I know he stayed in sweden for family reasons but if theres a shot hed return maybe they could make a play there. Sens had high hopes for him and TM would know him well (i think)

They fired a guy that has been getting fired every year for the last 3 years. Not exactly a shock move. He couldn't get them over the top with the best goalie since the best goalie(Hasek) and some prime talent up front and on defense. Not even remotely the same situation as the Sabres.

Was it though? They just rehired a guy that's a really good coach. Carey Price himself is enough to keep them in a playoff spot. They're certainly not going to get worse with Julien.

The previous Mora Players Tom Nilsson and Adam Masuhr have already joined the euro coin Match. Now step is also the last hill Mikael Mora Wikstrand in with a contribution.

Michael play this season in Färjestad chasing a top-six place in the SHL to thus take a direct location to the quarter-finals. We had a little chat with Michael.

How playing hockey life in Karlstad?
- I think they work well, played better and better in the end so they feel great.

What is your greatest memory from the time in Mora IK?
- Oops, have many good memories. Qualification matches were funny when Anze and Bobby played in Mora was awesome. The first match in the first team was great, there's a lot to choose from.

How much follow the progress of Mora days?
- I follow Mora each match, trying to see as many as possible unless I check always results!

What do you think about the team of you seen this season?
- Impressive, they play at a speed that no one in Hockeyallsvenskan do. They really impressed me. Some real MVP in Nilsson, Engvall and Goumas.

You have chosen to go with 2 SEK / spectator in euro coin Match. What made you do this?

- Because I've Mora close to my heart, been a supporter of them as long as I can remember, and they look like my mother's club.

Is there anything you would like to greet our fans?
- Continue to support the guys, it should not be easy to get to Mora and win games can be a fun spring !!

Julien is a great coach and they needed a change. They saw an opportunity and they took it rather than wussy-footing around like almost every other team in the league does about coaching
