I like Nuge bringing the puck up the ice, I see him working the corners, moving his feet, etc. I would like to see his salary A LOT lower and have him be the 3C (he's a bit too good for that though). Eberle simply doesn't care, he is such a passenger out there it's upsetting. I think Lucic cares a lot, he just can't play this game anymore with those two cement blocks he has for feet. (hmmm...if only Lucic's passion could be wrapped in side of Eberle's skill....).
Anyway, I'd keep RNH, trade Eberle and I'd even shop Lucic but he is not marketable anymore, I'm afraid we're stuck with him. Honestly, some of these bottom 6 guys can accomplish what Eberle has brought this year and I'd like to see his "return" playing on this team instead of him, be it a Dman or another fwd. I just think Ebs has checked out and he's done mentally as an Oiler. It would be good for both sides to part ways with him. |
