Bailey's?

When Strome is the toughest players on the team it's a huge problem. This team is too easy to play against.

I'm 7 (or 8) beers in and don't want to hear about Ladd.
At least i stepped up to the plate and accepted the challenge. Of which i have no control over. I also will accept the fate that befalls me should Ladd not reach the goal set forth.

I WILL BE YOUR WORST (frank)ING NIGHTMARE LADD IF YOU DON'T STEP YOUR (frank)ING GAME UP, B!TCH!

Yes, yes it is. Stu Crimson is available. He'd probably still kick the poop out of 90% of the guys in the league.

Don't need an enforcer but a player like Roussel would be nice.

Defense should be the top priority more than forwards. Boychuk is not a top pair dman. Need 1 more right handed dman.

Can we see if Trevor Gillies is available for the next game? I would really like to add a fighter. I'm missing Gillies and Haley on the Isles.

I mentioned Roussel because he is a mean mother(frank)er. Defence is also required.

The Pens do not seem to have trouble getting up for big games.

A right-handed top pair dman and Hamonic coming back on the 2nd pair should settle things down. Honestly, Seidenberg sucks in this system. This system relies on speed. Seidenberg has zilch of that.

When the Isles can win a Cup like the Pens, then they get play soft all they want.

I agree Seidenberg cannot be playing every game. Isles still need two way forwards though.

Pittsburgh is 7th in the league for hits this season. Just behind the beefy Oilers and ahead of the Blues, Bruins, Jets and Caps.

I'd like to see the Isles make moves to get Jordie Benn on the 2nd pair. Try to package Strome in a trade for Ryan Ellis. I like his transition game and his analytics would rise pretty well if paired with Leddy.

Ok, I've asked you this before with no answer. How many 'true' top pair d-men are there in the league? 20? 25? The Isles do not have a 'true' top pair defensemen. Leddy is as close as it gets and he was a second pair d-man with Chicago. I like Leddy, don't mistake me, but top pair, right-handed d-men are neither abundant, nor cheap. Where are you getting this guy from? Who are you trading to get him? Its won't be a 1st round pick, that's for sure.
They have quite a few defensemen coming up. Are they top pairing? Remains to be seen. Pulock could be (which, there's your rhd). Maybe Pelech grows into it. Though, he certainly didn't look like it tonight.
Me personally, i think it's a combination of several things, and it all starts with Snow. Poor drafting, bad player development and poopty coaching. Weight has been ok, but he's not a good coach. He fails to see his own mistakes (see the PP). The defense definitely needs to be tightened up. Seidenberg has been alright for what he is.

PP has been over 25% since he became interm coach.
I'd like to see us get involved with trades with the Predators. They have a lot of depth on defense that could compliment our style of play. They need offense. I like Ekholm and Ellis. Problem is, Subban and Josi are what's preventing them from getting top pair opportunities.
Talent for talent is not how you make trades to teams that aren't rebuilding. Trades that make your team improved going forward are what work in scenarios like this. Nashville needs quite a bit of offense though.

So, i guess, thinking about maybe talking to someone about possibly taking a job is being on the radar. Typical Islanders. Million dollars short and 85 days late.

Same way they were thinking about Babcock.
