Best move was sending Barzal back to play in WJHC as well. Kid needs to keep his scoring touch and confidence up as opposed to being part of this year's Barclay's Circus. Next year under Weight, if he is the coach, Barzal will get a good chance and he should be great in the AHL if they send him there for a while. He's going to play sooner or later, but seeing the forwards up here progress has been positive.

Doesn't make sense to send Halak to BOS if we are in a race for the playoff spot with them.

I'd still say the same thing I said before - if you can find someone to take halak's contract at less than 1.67 mil retained for this year and next it's better than buying him out and I don't care who they trade him to. Having his cap hit off the books entirely or for one year less than buying him out is a fantastic move, period. I don't care if that means they miss the playoffs, get the cap hit out of here.

They look (frank)ing awful. Over passing when they're having trouble completing one. Pelech looks like an ahl player and anyone who thinks this defense is even remotely close to being good is (frank)ing nuts. When I watch a game like this I laugh even harder when I think of how much we're paying Cizikas.
