He struggled in the top pair even last year. People, not saying you, just forgave him because of supporting him so much and playing professionally despite his trade request. But when you look at the analytics, him struggling with Leddy was no surprise to those who saw the numbers last year.

I'd rather throw in Hamonic and Strome if that gets me Ryan Ellis rather than Duchene. Though I think that type of move might be best saved for the offseason if available now that I think about it.
