You're gonna need a bigger gun Chiefs.

Let me know if you guys are gonna go all Red Dawn on their asses, I'm feeling like a holiday anyway.

Crawford
Dineen
Matvichuk
Green
Gallant

to name a few.

- ses111

Crawford: Somethings to me are just more important than ethics. Any coach that supports a player putting a bounty on another is a POS to me. Yes, I know the whole story and he got off easy. Idc how long ago it was. Stuff like that really sticks to me.
Dineen: This guy I would really go for. Highly analytics savvy rooted from the Chicago Blackhawks organization. He'd be a great choice.
Green: I just don't like the idea of former Isles players coaching the team.
Gallant: More on grit and accountability. Sound familiar?
Matvichuk: I know he was part of the cup-winning stars team. He's a question mark to me. I'd give him a run as our assistant coach. But to throw him in as the HC right away reminds me of when the Pens hired Mike Johnston from the WHL.

Worse news ever. They are still talking about Hurricane Sandy like it happened yesterday. I cant watch them at all
- kasperrko

Coincidentally I watched them for the first time in a while today. Incredible how politically driven and bias they suddenly are.

Yes I am, admitting it is the first step proud of you

Do you think the bruise is back though?

- nyisles7

You know me 7. I'm not Mr. loyalty like Garth. I will rip any of these franks at any time when deserved.

I think most of the team and coaches and certainly the GM has the bruises back.

News 12

Was this in between the story about three legged dog in merrick and the one about the bake sale in Babylon?

- Cptmjl

The best part was that they mentioned it was spotted in international waters, so 12 nautical miles off-shore, yet show a picture of the boat in a harbor.

Media is a (frank)ing joke

Where did he say it was over?
- Cptmjl

Usually when fans say "back to Cappy hockey," they usually imply that. If not, my bad.

Dudes everywhere, he somehow thinks Strome can possibly get Ekholm ...
He hasnt gotten the memo that top 4 dmen carry great value....

- Ur Not Me

That's what the conversation I had him last night was. He wanted Ellis for Strome. I told him that ain't happening. While Strome's value may have escalated a bit lately, it's no where near the point of getting a top 4, right handed D-man in return straight up. Although I do have to say that I liked Stromer dropping the mitts last night. To paraphrase Reg Dunlop, "He's just scrappin". He also seems to be gaining some confidence.

Yea but you are right they have to make up stories to fill their hour. Plus there is a Danielle Campbell on their and she is mean man. She was screaming and berating her camera man one time as I walked by.

Obviously your not an Islander fan if you dont this. Look back through the years of how many times we hear how he talked to this player and talked to that player. Then it comes out that no talks were ever done. Get your head out of the sand
- kasperrko

And what makes those reporters credible? I can report that Snow went to go to McFaddens last night. Is it true though? No. Why should we rely on their reports as 100% fact?

If Garth had any smarts he would have been all over guys like Trotz and Lavy when they were available instead of protecting his buddy Ernie. We would not have to worry about unproven coaches. Dineen would be one of my top choices. Matvichuk I do not know a lot about his coaching, but he seems to have promise.

All the media does is hype up stories to make people go nuts. They are the reason for all of problems in this world

Again, it's not about talent for talent when it comes to trades. It comes to what piece fits best and helps that team succeed the most. You don't think Strome would help that offense quite a bit? Ellis' numbers are very similar to Leddy's and would fit perfectly. I don't understand the issue on how this trade wouldn't work for both sides? People raised their eyebrows with the Larsson for Hall and people thought it was a dumb trade for Edmonton and that they could've gotten more. Nope, with Larsson they're a lot more settled in defensively and he fits perfectly in the top pair.

When did I say I was a fan? Because I rightfully criticize media bloggers posts on whether or not they're completely factual? That somehow relates to me being a fan of Snow? I'm saying with Sports in general, not every journalist is 100% credible with what they post.
