No.
Last night had (as usual):

McD - G
Staal - Holden
Skjei - Klein

Not trying to get into an argument, but check your facts before posting, please.

they definitely mixed it up during the game though

Holden ended up leading the entire team in minutes, so he played quite a bit

- jimbro83

I get that. And, if you only looked at the statsheet I'm sure you would think they were paired together. But, his statement was that McD and Holden were paired together, on the lineup card, and they have never been. And while we're on the topic, let's give a thank you to AV who seems to have realized that G can't just keep playing top minutes!!

Ok, I can admit that. If you set the criteria to full season, McD and Holden drops to 5% of the time, though (that's me trying to save face!!).

edit: plus, he said last night. He was wrong on that one!

Who cares about a lineup card? He was right, last 3 games they were the 2nd highest percentage pairing, under Klein Skjei

I have to say guys, I want Shattenkirk. But do I want him so much where I am willing to pay a high price in player personnel at the deadline, all for the right to give him a contract in the off-season that will pay him north of $7 million a year until he is in his mid-30s.

It just feels like one of those things that feels good at the time, and is hard to resist, but comes back to bite you in the end. Like acquiring Herpes from the thing that felt right at the time when you went to Vegas.

Real tough call, but give me Wideman as a rental. And yes, I know I have mentioned Wideman too much. There aren't many right handed defensemen that fit the bill.

Need a doctor's report on Franson's bone bruise but I'm still going rental then signing Shatty in July, a splash now might disrupt the boat

BTW why did everyone have such a weird reaction to my Finn's comment, so much more outlandish poop gets posted here

as the 8th defenseman added to this current group, I guess not a bad add

the Rangers haven't been hoarding cap space all year to add a guy like him though

When I went to Sweden for a friends wedding I found out that it seemed to be common perception on Sweden that Finns like to fight with knives. That, and many Swedes think that American are all fat and carry guns.

I've heard in my hockey circles and playing days that the Finns considered to be the P***** R***** of Europe.

I wont post the nationality because someone will get offended and I will get banned. But I found it really funny. I'm sure some of you highly intelligent individuals can figure it out.

Ok did we all kiss and make up?

I do like the idea of spreading McD, Shatty and Skjei across the 3 pairs at even strength though. Like how we have Lines 1a, 1b, and 1c up front.

I agree. First time in forever we've had so much to spend at the deadline. Kind of ironic that the only fits will f up the chemistry they've achieved.
