I don't get the Williamsburg reference, but I'm pretty sure I could figure it out.

It's the hipster neighborhood in Brooklyn

I am impressed by this team, they played very well last night.

The CBJ have also handed two games to them this year because they made horrible plays turned directly into goals. The season for the CBJ is turning into a nightmare, hopefully we can get in as the top wild card and get Montreal in the 1st round.

How do you figure? I think the Jackets are one of the biggest surprises this year. Compared to last season its a complete 180. That game last night could have gone either way.

huh that game was like passing a kidney stone Raata was amazing
- Alexzanki

Bobrovsky is no slouch either. Despite CBJ controlling a LOT of play in the Rangers zone, New York had tons of high quality chances and he shut the door repeatedly.

They're regressing back to the mean after their crazy win streak. They haven't been winning much recently.

That was a real gutty win last night on the road. 2 wins this year in Columbus. Raanta was a rock & Vesey showed up w the game winning goal. What a shot.

Glad they stuck to their guns and kept on trying, because NY looked a little out of synch through the first half of the game. Missing passes, misreading teammates cuts, etc.
That's a win to build a winning atmosphere on!!!

Well yeah, no team was going to keep that pace. Ebbs and flows brother, but if I was a Jackets fan I would be (frank)ing thrilled about my team this year. Compared to last years 4th worst team in the league.

I agree & they have a playoff type team if you ask me. Lot of grinding types who can play mean when things heat up in the playoffs.

And now a couple days off between games, after a long stretch of every other night games. Then another 2 days off after Thursday before facing the Caps in a Nationally televised game Sunday @ MSG.

On a long weekend, to boot!!
I'll be recording the game (as usual) as I don't get off the ice myself until 1:00. Then I'll enjoy that while I prep dinner for the wife's family. Already got my growler's filled with Micro-brew! Just might be hungover on Monday.

And they still have the same amount of points as us and the Penguins. I guess we all suck.

last night on twitter, literally 5 seconds after Joe Fortunato blasted AV for playing Vesey over Buchnevich, Vesey scores one of the best goals all year

it was like magic

- jimbro83

That fat twit had his head buried in a graph, Rangers generated very little in the 1st but Vesey was clearly their best forward, that's why he got bumped up

From ESPN this morning:
Which team needs the most help at the trade deadline?

Scott Burnside: The New York Rangers probably aren't getting enough love when it comes to Eastern Conference contenders, but if GM Jeff Gorton can find a way to add someone like a Kevin Shattenkirk, a right-handed defenseman with some offensive pop, the Rangers are going to be a force. No one is as good as the Washington Capitals, but if the Rangers happened to stay in the top wild-card spot in the East, that would mean avoiding the Metropolitan Division through to the conference finals, which is not a bad thing. But a blue-line corps that has totaled just 23 goals this season -- just four on the power play -- needs an inflator, like a Shattenkirk, and if the Rangers can acquire that kind of asset, their Stanley Cup chances go up exponentially.

I wouldn't rule it out. Isles moved trash-bucket AMac to the Flyers at the deadline once.
