You a Boyle fan too??? I guess I'm on my own on this one. - mdw7413
i mean if they can get him on the cheap yeah. ive always been a fan of him though, so to have a little reunion here wouldn't be the worst thing in my opinion. if the price is right.

I don't think he hates Nash. He's not his favorite definetly. I think he feels that he doesn't quite play up to his contract come playoff time.
Hard to argue he has been very engaged & productive most of this yr while healthy. Let's hope he keeps it up in April/ & beyond. - RustyKuntz
Yeah, I'm hoping Nash finally has a great playoffs. Could be the year. Like Jimbo says, when healthy, there is a ton of balance. Teams will have to choose wisely. Its not going to be just shut down the Nash line anymore.

If Nash doesn't do something this year in the playoffs due to what you said, I will hop on your anti-Nash wagon.
Something about Boyle I just never liked. I can't put my finger on it.
Regarding bringing him back, I just don't see the need. Lindberg is faster and more physical. He looks like he finally is getting comfortable. - mdw7413

Since it's rental talk season. When was the last time we had a rental that actually worked out for us? I honestly can't remember. And by rental I mean last year of contract, not year+ like Yandle or MSL

If Nash has a half decent playoffs the year we made it to the SCF we would've won that damn Cup
They hit the post in both the double ot games (twice in the first game), difference between being up 3 games to 2 or losing series 4 -1. (well that and Girardi's stick)
When he turtled in Ottawa and got Dubi thrown out of the game... - mdw7413
wtf?! That's not what happened at all. Carkner the goon punched him first when he wasn't even ready & knocked him down, then kept throwing punches like a coward at a defenseless player. Dubi jumped in like a good teammate & wrongly got the 3rd man in & tossed like a minute into the game. Blame Carkner & the refs for that incident, NOT Boyle.

Boyle knew it was coming, he was even warned, he turtled like the giant vagina he is. (frank) Boyle!

Hate him you want, your 100% wrong in what happened in that game. - RustyKuntz
Nope, he was warned after he punched Karlsson in the head a bunch of times the game before. Hell it was the only reason Carkner dressed. He turtled, Dubi went in to save his bacon and got thrown out.
Quick in general. Hank was a stud all playoffs but Quick was just a notch higher. How many times did he rob Zucc with the paddle of his stick when Zucc had a WIDE OPEN net? I can remember at least twice.
I blame our 6% powerplay. Seriously, 6% through 4 rounds of the playoffs. If we had even a so-so PP, we had the cup.
So, I guess I blame Arniel. - Tonybere
Have to agree with you on that. Their PP was god Awful.
And every game they kept talking about "Scott Arniel's Power Play" .. I want them to decline penalties after a while and just play 5 on 5

Dude, stop. Why are you doing this? Its right here. Boyle may have known it was coming but that doesn't excuse Carkner to start throwing punches w the gloves off when Boyle wasn't ready. And its NOT a turtle when you've been knocked down & a man is repeatedly throwing fists in your face. The ref was right there & should have stepped in when he saw a player being taken advantage of. Instead he stood there like a statue & Dub I had to get in there.
