I just read it and no one even mentioned Kane until you btought his name up and they all responded he was not the problem

Read the blog not the comments....like I said, I was spit balling the clear facts are it's a divided room. Just connecting the dots , seems like a case of where's there is smoke there is fire. I realize he's you're desired saviour but ya gotta admit the optics are bad. Same poop that happened in Winnipeg before track gate happened. Maybe he's an angel and the coaches pet....history suggests otherwise

So you got no reason other then guilt by past behavior. Kane has gotten in trouble for his past actions. He may have had a wake up call for this season. Just like Kassian. You don't get any reports of anything about him other then hockey. He's no savior. He's a good talent. Maybe be available in free agency. Sabers don't have any desire to move him. Nucks can't afford him. So the talk on him is intended for what reason?

That's what happens when you draft a bunch of high prospect kids without veteran leadership. So the people that want that for us I don't know why.
- Nighthawk

They have lots of veterans on that team. So thats not the point. You cant group all young kids in the same boat. Example it appears that there is a huge difference between JV and Bo.

Doesn't sound like Hansen is too interested in waiving as per Jason Brough

I think if this was a normal year there would be little movement.

I see Miller being extended and maybe Markstrom traded or they might go with the same goalie security for the next two years.

I would honestly trade Sven over Hansen. I still think Hansen has five more good years.

I don't really know what Dman will be traded but I don't think it will be Edler Stecher Tryamkin or Hutton.

If we get CBJ second round pick this year I will be thrilled . That would mean four picks in the first 75 picks.

- VANTEL

Im on board with keeping Hansen and trading one of granlund or sven. I just dont want to loose any of them for nothing. I would expose sutter as his contract sucks and LV more than likely wouldnt take him anyway.. Something to keep in mind with Hansen is what does he want on a 3 year deal after his current contract is up? If he wants a massive raise it might be best to move on. Same ggoes for gudbranson.

He's a Canuck lifer. He doesn't want to go. But he has to provide 8 team list. You think he will try to scuttle trade destination by pulling a Vrbata?

You should read Jason Broughs tweets. Vrbata I believe gave a list of 8 last year also, none of them had any interest

CNN did a story today on Trump's inappropriate hand shakes and reported Trudeau was only one to come out on top.

If Sutter is exposed on waivers he'd be taken by any team. If Vegas had a free shot they wouldn't hesitate. Have no idea why you think his contract is an issue.

JB knows Guddy wants raise and traded for him. It might be more palatable because of performance in injury season. Hansen has been underpaid. His next contract will be substantial based on prime years.

If that's the case, we should boo him every time he touches the puck.

Which is why it's time to move on.
I don't want a repeat of Burrows (underpaid for years, performed well, cashed in and becomes a bit of an anchor), i'd like to sell after getting good value and allow him to cash in elsewhere, while playing the new ?underpaid guys like Sven and Granny.

Yes a team that is short on Centers should put one up to get rid of for nothing

Yeah...but Hansen is a very useful player with a great cap hit. Even if he gives the list as the bottom 8 teams in the league...all of those teams likely would have interest in him. Use up next year's contract and either resign or trade him.

Hey if you wanna believe he's turned everything around and is a good soldier and teammate then good for you. He has a very well documented history of being everything else but that, and I've heard no one involved with the team come out and say dam rights he's changed his ways and is a fantastic team mate. Funny thing about nhl dressing rooms is they never hang each other's dirty laundry out to the public until it's gotten to a critical mass point. What is coming out from the sabres players now is there are some major issues in the room ( largely undefined at this stage other then identifying certain unnamed players are not following the coaches gameplan) . So yes there is no way to prove you're theory...and no way to prove mine until critical mass and it all blows up...players start naming names. The eye test to me...looks an awful light the Winnipeg situation all over again. My opinion of course

Right....be nice if we moved him to Colorado for a high pick lol . I'd imagine he'd love a chance at a long playoff run though.

I don't think this is true. The bottom 8 teams are inherently rebuilding, do they want a 30 something forward? To give up prospects or picks? No.
