He is undoubtedly talented. Not denying that. - Pete V
i think the question you are asking is regarding his character... I have to agree i wonder the same thing, why is it that his teams have never really amounted to anything? you cant just blame it on poor talent. some of his teams have had pretty good talent on them. I think he would be best suited as an ancillary piece - similar to what Kessel is for Pitt. ultra talented, but not great leadership. |

That was one of the last truly AWFUL contracts Sather handed out. - B2B76
And one of the reasons why I am still wary about chasing the aging high priced UFA defensemen. There are several other reasons as well. |

I saw the Bruins may be looking to move J Hayes if they make a trade to get Landeskog. Any interest? I would love J Hayes on our 4th line. big guy with some skill. only 1 year left after this one at $2.3M. probably wouldnt cost too much. |

And some snarl too, more than Kevin & reuniting with his brother could pull him out of a bad year....but that didn't work with Eric GULP Staal. |

But gosh darnit, Redden sure could make that great 1st breakout pass. Slats was in love with him as was Torts too at first if I recall.
edit-Tom Renney was still the Coach when we brought Redden in, got fired mid year that 08-09 season. |

He won the game I believe when we came back from the 4-2 3rd period deficit last time in Columbus. |
