At the beginning of the season you kept saying how terrible it was and how Larrson sucks.
The team is winning. Not just on Talbot, not just on McD, Not just on Drai. A good part of it is the MUCH improved D, of which Larrson, and Russel, have played MAJOR components.
The only stat that matters in the end is the one counted in the W column, and w/o Hall, w/ Larrson the Oilers are making more W.
EDIT: There have been teams to do the D by committee successfully. Notable among them is the Canucks circa their SCF window. They had a bunch of solid Top 4 Dmen but no true Stud #1. - McSavioursPupil

It means we still have to find an elite Dman. And as he says who do we give up now to get one? Which is what I've said all along. I had no problem dealing Hall if we got that #1 Dman in return. We didn't and now we still need one. That's a big big problem and a mistake by Chia.

I never claimed we were an elite team. I know we're not there yet. We'll get there though. We are a very much improved team that is still very young, and only getting better.
