I'm worried that Ghost is Tyler Myers 2.0
- Der Kaiser

Claude Rivet was saying he thinks the Team is F'g with him to purposely hold his contract value down by scratching him from play and reducing his minutes.
Interesting thought, not that I buy into it.

I'd like to see the Sabres go after a lockdown LHD to pair with Risto rather than some gifted O-style Dman who then has defensive liability issues...but that likely needs to wait until the off season. And we need to ensure puck movement, initial pass is a skill to drive the transition game much more efficiently.

I still think selling off our UFA assets is the absolute best strategy to acquire the currency to pry lose a young Dman from verstocked teams prior to the Expansion Draft.

According to the Flyer fan below, it would, but is Ghost enough giving up Kane and a 2017 1st? A 2018 1st, perhaps.

Tough one. You would need the mother of all shut down pairings to make up for it. unless you can get the perfect LHD you're probably looking at adding 2 d-men. A defensive guy to partner with risto and an offensive rhd that can move the puck and take some minutes away from risto on the other pair

The perfect mix, to add to what you said, would be one of the 2 they add would be young guy with promise that they poach from an over stacked team and the other would be more a veteran type. Ideal scenario of course.

10) Batman and Robin
9) Batman Forever
8) Fantastic Four(fielders choice, they're all awesome)
7) Ghost Rider 2
6) Steel
5) Howard the Duck
4) Mystery Men
3) League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
2) Superman III
And for the best superhero movie of all time... Daredevil

To be serious, Dark Knight Rises was one of the worst movies ever. The Dark Knight was really good, if only for Ledger. Without him it's average at best. And we'll never really know how good it really was because he died before it came out, so you're sitting there the whole time saying "that guy just died, and now I'm watching him on-screen." Although I did get chills a few times and movies rarely if ever do that to me. I liked Iron Man, but they got progressively worse, still worth the 2 hours, but don't need repeat viewings. Jon favreau as the valet/chauffeur saved 2 and 3. Superman Returns was definitely underrated. If that's the one where they had to CGI out Brandon Routh's dong because his bulge was distracting to viewers. lol I can't keep track of the names of the Superman movies. I really enjoyed Watchmen, a DC movie I actually liked quite a bit. Jeffrey Dean Morgan is pretty awesome, yeah I said it.

To say The Dark Knight is trash is like saying Tom Brady is not the best quarterback ever it's just lies
And jealousy... there is absolutely nothing wrong with that film

Really The Dark Knight Rises is the worst film ever ??? What you can't be serious watch Catwoman or Green Lantern or Daredevil

Man, the wheels have fallen right off in HBSL. I was in like 8th in the free league at one point, now, not so much. 86th and headed for another loss. Down 406.5 - 297. The usually solid Martin Jones has a whopping 4 points in 2 games. Byfuglien is at -4 so far.

Not unreasonable at all.

Theodore still has serious promise, but replace him with anyone of Montour, Ellis, Ekholm, or Brodin and I'd think we'd all be happy.

Risto, McCabe, Faulk, Theodore, Guhle, Fedun, Gorges feels like a vast improvement, just not sure that's entirely possible in one off season, although I believe the expansion draft can be a great help and is a true wild card.

Wow if it was that simple, cool! But it's not. What Kane is can't be easily aquired. Where do you find a good size speedy, body slamming scorer?

You don't create a blistering downgrade on the left side for any D-man. Scoring in the 40 pt and up range is a premium in the league today, it's not like the days of Gretzky , Messier, LaFontaine Perrault, Mogilny.

Keep Kane, check out Guhle and be patient padawans.

Ghost regressed this year. If he flops, you moved a good power forward and a top 10 pick for a smallish offensive d that doesnt score, and a couple scratch off tickets.

Do you really need a kane to win in todays nhl?

Find me the contender that prioritized this particular role on their team?

Kane+ for one 2017 1st + for the other...could happen. Id settle for one and subtraction of others for this off season though.

Those would all be good targets. Im assuming you mean falk for our roster, unless we pulled off another expensive move.

Well, according to rinaldo, he mentioned in Garth's blog that he feels Ghost is nothing more than a bottom pairing guy who is expendable for Philly. If that's the case he wants Kane and our top 10 first for a 5-6 and some garbage picks. Hell no.

Bottom line is that Ghost doesn't have enough games under his belt to accurately tell his talent level, he was 4th round pic for a reason and just because he had one helluva rookie campaign doesn't mean he'll be the next Brent Burns.

It's looking more and more like Nylander is 2 more years away from the NHL. hope we see some growth next year.

it took the other nylander roughly 2 years to get there as well. it's not a set back or anything typical trajectory for scoring wingers.

He was a third round pick, look at his game by game stats. His plus minus against eastern conference teams is horrendous.
