I don't think that's gunna happen. Hextal believes in young players learning to win and being around it. He wont pull them up to be part this train wreck. He went out and built the ahl team to be a winner this year. the kids will play within that .

The more youth, the better. At least those guys play like they give a damn. I understand not bringing up Sanheim/Morin right now as they are LHV's top pair, but trade MDZ and Streit for whatever you can get and bring up Hagg. Also waive the teachers pet and bring up Laughton and Leier.

I wonder how many teams have scored 1 total goal in three consecutive home games this year? They were about a tenth of a second from being shutout in 3 straight home games. Just a piss poor, unwatchable, product being put on the ice.

I'd agree with most besides they bolded name. I might drop him to line 4 and move Lyubimov up the roster but Read can do a good job out there.

This team needs a little jolt somehow.

Think maybe something like this and watch out it will make line's 3 and 4 be useless on offense I bet.

I'd like to see some combination of Stolarz, Morin, Hagg and Leier this year. Laughton should finish the year with the Phantoms.

I would add Neuvirth to the list of not coming back. And if Raffl is the 3LW, I'd be fine with him coming back, he's just not a 1LW.

I think there's an easy fix to their game. Bring back Bro Hymn as the goal song. Why they got rid of it, I'll never know.

I dont either, but nothing wrong with bringing Weal and Leir up for some games to see what a different line-up looks like. If it doesn't change much, send them back down. They'd be getting reinforcement with VandeVelde coming down and have plenty of depth already. I don't think it drastically affects the Phantoms. They're very good.

If the Flyers continue to lose, send them back down and chalk these season up as a loss. At that point, that's when you consider trading guys like Schultz, MDZ, Streit, and Neuvirth IMO.

I hear ya, I just think the Phantoms have more than enough forward depth to allow Hextall to bring up a 3rd year pro like Leier to replace a stiff like Read.

Funny you say that. I usually stationary bike an entire period of the game. With commercials and breaks in play a typical period lasts about 40-45 mins.
