The Canucks have looked pretty good their last four periods of hockey.

Tonight, the old guys are showing Torts a thing or two.

They broke the slump. Vets stepped up. But youth was there too. Got to like Tree being aggressive and clearing the net. He was a positive factor in this game too. Stecher seemed to have hit a wall lately bobbling pucks but made a great stretch pass play to Megna. Miller came through as well with big saves.

Now to snow storm Boston for midday game. Don't know if I can make it up there in these conditions though.

Experience and guile will beat youth and enthusiasm everytime. It's why my daughter never can beat me at poker... then again she's only 10.

I see Willie has them playing well tonight, and has made some adjustments to step up to the challenge, good on Willie D..

Sooo, I'm wondering if the pompom girls are planning the wild card spot and anything thing can happen narrative

if you are talking about Carol she said the boys will fight to the end. Won't go out with a wimper. She believed by end of weekend we'll have an idea about staying in race for WC.

I say good luck. It's all an uphill climb. Are you score board watching?

Reviewing that draft there r many picks yet to prove their worth.
JV has some good company but time is still on his side.
Side effect is his next contract will be determined on how he progresses.
He alone is in control of his future. I can wait for him to realize his potential.
Like many posters have stated we r not contending anytime soon so time is on his side & the Nux. We still have a severe lack of F prospects. BB looks legit & maybe Gaudette or even Lockwood but thats pushing it. I'm still holding out we make a move or 2 to address those needs via picks or prospects.

he's been awesome for us and keeps adding new dimensions to his nhl game
Both him and stetcher can do wicked stretch passes. All things we've sorely needed.

hey loser, this would be a good time for you to drop acid
Although none of your fellow HB members are in the middle of distress

Maybe if you did much much less drugs youd be able to see this stuff and not treat other people in such a shameful manner than you do. Learn how to act like a decent human being

In this game there was push and drive by all. So can't say Nucks were boring. It was a fast paced entertaining game for a change. Timely goals and saves helped too.

You know he can't resist poking. Even if you didn't set yourself up for that he'll bring something up every day or so. It's not about hockey talk for him as much as getting a laugh or riling it up. Part of being a condescending matador.

Funny though as far as hockey views they aren't much different. Just lay off the Jarvis the Genius talk and you're golden.

I believe u r touching on how WD likes us to play.
It fits right into him rolling 4 lines.
Gives everyone more energy to spread it all out.

Well that's a tangent off of what I said. Though Makita could be right about adjustments. So if that's what he is trying to do now, all for the fast pace, driving the net play. Not sure if talent is there for spreading it out for offense as much. But hey balance is welcome. Let's see if they keep it up.

I wonder if this discussion will be taken as "Pom Pom talk". We need to remember that anything short of calling Nucks utterly awful and hopeless is blasphemy to reality. So with that in mind these Nuck guys fluked out. They are lucky as sheep bleep as CBJ was asleep.
