i am reading some anti-Sedin sentiment on the boards and hearing it on the Radio. I wonder if this is coming from the younger "Millennial" part of the fan base as I see the Sedins as carrying us ever since the West Coast Express moved on. Do the younger fans have no perspective? I am not willing to throw them under the bus due to a bad month or even a bad season. Besides, a bad season for them in an average one for most others.

I just think it is disrespectful to abandon your stars. They will retire next year playing out contracts they earned. If Danny was at 1000, I would almost think they may retire after this season but we owe it to them.

No more thinking of players as commodities. You end up with Corrados if you do that.

Vantel is just trying to get Danny going. Usually after calling him out or suggesting he should be waived he comes back and proves him wrong.

I'm with Bakas, Canucks win tonight with a hat trick from Danny.

I am far from being a millenial 😂😂
What i am though is realistic.
Daniel is the lesser of the 2 IMO
Nothing to do with throwing them under the bus but i do single out Dank.

I doubt they retire after next year though, that's the problem, there's no guarantee that they will. This team cannot move on until they are gone because as long as he's here Henrik will be the captain and the focus of the team rightly or wrongly. We all know this will be Bo's team when Henrik goes but the issue always has been when is he going to go?

At the same time, with all they've done and accomplished, they deserve to play out this last contract. But I would hope that next year at TDL they'd be willing to be moved to some contender for whatever assets they'd bring if we have to eat 50% of each of their contracts for the rest of the year so that at least maybe they can get the Cup they should have had in '11

I think we have officially hit rock bottom. Todays biggest topics are Megna Boucher and if we trade Burrows and Hansen.

We can't even get the part of a tear down right . How hard is that and how can a team screw that up so badly

I am not angry I am just laughing at how far we have sank.

Bobby Mac doesn't think Nolan Patrick is a number one center and maybe not even a number two.

Speculation on the radio today that Benning may be scouting that Swedish Dman as our top pick.

I agree the best thing is losing right now . Grab a top 5 pick and try and trade for another pick

- VANTEL

Bobby Mac said that? That's outrageous.....

and to the Swedish dman

Thx but i've seen that already & its outdated now IMO
- Nighthawk

It's definitely outdated after the world juniors. I still think the tiers are close to the same but the players have flip flopped.

That's not what Bmac said at all.
Even so, Nolan would instantly be this team 2nd best center after Hank. Yes, likely better then Bo.

- Whiskey-Tango

Patrick is at least a No 2...I think he is a No 1. Regardless, I want Nico more

I really think it depends on how next year goes for them. I always thought they would keep going on several short term deals, but this has not been a good year and their close friend Naslund retired at 35 after his point totals declined.

It will be interesting but they will definitely play next year in hopes of a rebound season

Besides if u got your wish we prolly make a WC push much more realistic.
Sorry to say its not happening either way.
Hope for LE & Granlund as wingers to do it instead.

As much as I think Patrick will be better for a team then Nico. Van needs Nico and not Patrick. Need an East-West Ehlers, Marner type of player to help the meat and potatoes to score. Are Van going to be drafting 1-2, who knows.

Very interesting that a scout has Liljegren going in the 2nd round! Take a forward benning!!!!!!!!!!

As for a rebound season Daniel is the weakest link.

Sedins with Granlund looked good on a shift. Two blocked shots from blue line ended it. Elder not on the ice. Hmmm.

Bo Line getting chances. Jones stopped Burr from making Bullfrogs day.

That scout prolly loses his job yesterday 😂😂

I'm all for a legit top 2C gettng picked.
After about the top 6 then D start sticking out a lot.
Which forward do u see in that range over the D available.
