Sarcasm is awesome...No we lost the Orielly trade, and all the other trades we have ever made. Zads is a bust, Duchene is worth a sack of taters, Mackinnon is a bust and should be putting up 200 pts every year. Rantanen got lucky, won't ever score again. Iginla should be extended 3 more years at 7.85 million, you know to get more chances at the cup. Mitchell, Tyutin, Colborne, Comeau, Gelinas, Beauchemin should be extended. They are the future of this franchise.

I dont like it, unless they plan on moving Barrie in another deal. Vatanen is a small RHS mobile D, more offensive than defensive..less offensive than Barrie but a little better defensively than him.

Has a smaller cap hit that Barrie which would help other moves, but I dont get him being a target unless there would be another move

Lindholm would be awesome but the Avs tried last summer to offer Landy for him and they said no.

If we got Lindholm for Landy I wonder if Barrie for JVR would work. (If we inked JVR less than $6M per on a 5 year deal)

thats not what I heard, they actually had that deal accepted in principle but Avs wouldnt pull the trigger until they did a Barrie deal for another Fwd with Edmonton. They wanted Draistil but Oilers were only interested in yakupov, reinhart, style pacakages

Oh wow I didn't hear that they agreed to it. I would have definitely done that. For the Avs/Oil I'd do Draisaitl for Barrie. I would have preferred Barrie + for Horse Face.
