am I the only one who does not want Rassmussen. Did anyone see his point totals at different situations. he is producing points at 5v5 at a HORRID pace, but is MONEY on the PP and 5 on 3. I know its fancy stats, but if you can't produce at 5 on 5 in junior, flags should be raised. - Codes1087
I wouldn't go near Rasmussen. WAY too many red flags.

He' s the number one, I guess I wasn't explicit. I guess I need to be optimistic, eh? I actually think Hirshier may be my number one. I like his speed, we need that on our roster IMO. - neem55
I still think Nico goes No1. It's going to be a tight race! |

I agree those three had issues. Tried them all out. But for the bumpy streets of NYC you need durability. Trailhawk seems to got it all right. - Nuck4U

I trust this site quite a bit more than the dweeb who reported on Rasmussen a few days ago at CA.
Although it was done in late November, he talks about passing ability etc.
Also, how is our PP doing & could we not use a player that actually can shoot the puck & drive to the net? - Reubenkincade
The passing is what I noticed too. He's a big lad to be able to pass like that. |

Jeeps look plastic now, awful vehicles.
Ive got the q5 diesel. Best car I've ever owned. Tiguan is too small imo. |

It's sad that it has come to this. But I think the entire City is anxiously awaiting the Sedin's retirement. It's hard hockey to watch at the moment. The only occasional excitement comes from Bo, Bae, Granlund, Tree or Stetcher. - CanuckDon
Was the same feeling when Stan Smyl tries to continue playing well past his expiration date. Was sad to see...Sedins are there now, it's too bad. Willie needs to back off, quit running them into the ground. Make them the third line maybe 2nd pp minutes and move forward. If they can be 40 point players in that role for next year I'd consider that a win. |

I hope we win a top3, I really think it will make a big difference for us going forward. Hopefully you're right and pick #1 for once! |

Yes it was an interesting discussion. Doesn't sound like he is willing to change to a small and soft players. Wants to be able to compete.with the big.fast teams like San Jose and LA. |

New roll out I think this year on the Tiguan, if I heard correctly, you can get 3rd row seating... but is likely a tight fit. I think the new Rogues have the 3rd row too.
Q5's are very nice.

So I heard on the radio no suspension for Cody Mcleod...
are these the same rules as the ones JV got the 1 game for the late hit/blind side? I think it was on Polak? |

It's a good thing you don't post as much because you are probably the most negative person on here. All you have said over the last couple of months is call people names and blast them for the things they say. What gives you the right to criticize what people say?
What do you think this forum is for? It's for people to enjoy Carol's blog and to discuss the Canucks. Whether the views of people are justified or not, people have a right to complain if they so choose.

he's been going through a difficult period in his life. Most of us know that here. Its changed him for sure. Im saying cut him some slack, its not easy for him right now. |

Not too surprising, it's worked for him for two cups. I wouldn't want to face that group in the playoffs. |

After last nights calls and of late convinced NHL won't give the 50/50 calls in favor. Nucks are seen as a bottom feeder so no breaks. |

Especially if that player could come in the same way Bo did and make somewhat of an impact quickly. I hope Vilardi, Nico & Patrick, maybe Tippett all have that potential, Mittelstad (is playing high school hockey) so I'd say he's going to Uni for a couple years, Tolvanen, Rasmussen, Necas are probably not ready either.
If we pick top 5, I'm not interested in Liljegren, hopefully someone else takes him, I think a centre/possibly winger should be our priority. |

IMO there is nothing convincing that shows there was intent on behalf of Mcleod's part. Maybe he did do it on purpose, but there is nothing on the replay the shows he changed his path, lowered his shoulder, or drove into the hit on Bear. I have no problem with no discipline.
And please, no conspiracy theories! |

Game 1 down of road trip. Five more to go to decide season and how to develop team. If trend continues which is most likely. Among the general challenges of limited talent and coaching there are new injuries and scoring slumps. This will aid the decline ratio when prime time players like LE can't cash in on opportunities.
Result on above is that maybe JB makes moves. There won't be many Sellers it seems. Huge guessing on what the buyers are willing to do. Vegas and all. But Nucks won't be doing any hockey type trades so they have the right TDL type players. Don't see more then 4 guys moved. Though JB won't move any of them for little. They all might be back too.
Would not be surprised if only one player or no one is moved at TDL even if Nucks are hopelessly out of the bottom of the bubble. |
