The funny part was three weeks ago all the circle jerkers were trumpeting our playoff bound Canucks The only reason we may not hit 30th place is because Colorado is incapable of stringing any points together. We are defiantly bad enough to be in their shoes - Bullfrog77
No clue of these PO bound ppl u speak of. Many ppl thought it possible but mostly unlikely. Other folks wanted a stealth tank. |

Geez, that is depressing & I thought I was being the Debbie Downer this morning.
I look at Top 5 draft picks and smile. Anyone of the centre's will make me happy. - Reubenkincade

No thanks to Liljegren.
Patrick, Nico, Vilardi, Middlestadt & Rasmussen in that order.
Try get Ratcliffe or Popuguaev in 2nd. If we could swing something for Hague or Foote that would be great.
Some players that at start of season I thought would move into 1st round, have actually dropped to 3rd, as a.result of injury or other various reasons, so maybe we get a decent player at #64, our 3rd round pick.
Edit: may have to try move up to get Ratcliffe, as he has been moving up the rankings as well |

Bunch of fcuking drama queens, Claude Julien you guys can be a bunch of dumb fcuks at times...
2nd post in a month wonder why, blame everything but the crap talent, bring in Claude while there's still time to get in the playoffs - Makita
It's a good thing you don't post as much because you are probably the most negative person on here. All you have said over the last couple of months is call people names and blast them for the things they say. What gives you the right to criticize what people say?
What do you think this forum is for? It's for people to enjoy Carol's blog and to discuss the Canucks. Whether the views of people are justified or not, people have a right to complain if they so choose.
And you call yourself a "ref", know your role and do your job. |

He didn't single anyone out, and people call other posters far worse things (with malice or without) far more often than he does. I think he is just sick of the hysteria posters. I would imagine the Leafs/Sabres/Nucks/Oilers/Flames blogs are the hardest to manage as referee's as they have the most traffic, so I wouldn't take his post so literally. |

Top 5 I like a center, out of the top 5 I'd love to get lilgren. All about who's taken for my money it's Middlestadt>Vilardi.
Looks like its time for me to dust off the old hashtag!

In other news, did anyone hear/see the Victoria Zamboni Driver who was using a Zamboni he bought at auction for 300 bucks to clear the roads infront of his aunts place. The media attention it is getting is awesome lol |

am I the only one who does not want Rassmussen. Did anyone see his point totals at different situations. he is producing points at 5v5 at a HORRID pace, but is MONEY on the PP and 5 on 3. I know its fancy stats, but if you can't produce at 5 on 5 in junior, flags should be raised. |

Ya this was right up by my place, 300 bucks! Wonder how much that beast costs to fuel. They let him do the whole street, it didnt really help but it was pretty great. |

I didn't know this! I watched him play once, thought he was a pretty good passer for a big guy. I'm pulling for Hirshier myself, I have middlestadt, vilardi and Rassmussan after in that order. Now I am a bit hesitant to put him that high. Maybe Tippett or Lildjgren. |

He is straight up, the Virtanen of the top 10 (albeit worse).
God I hope we stay away from him.
Mittelstadt or Liljedgrin would be my personal picks.
It's a bummer that Mit is heading to college, if we take him we won't see the kid in camp/pre-season/NHL for some years to come. Not that I care, but I like seeing the kids in the rookie showcase and camp etc. |

^could not agree more. He reminds me so much of Virtanen. Straight line player, little creativity (not that its always needed), goes hard to the net and not much else.

He' s the number one, I guess I wasn't explicit. I guess I need to be optimistic, eh? I actually think Hirshier may be my number one. I like his speed, we need that on our roster IMO. |

It's sad that it has come to this. But I think the entire City is anxiously awaiting the Sedin's retirement. It's hard hockey to watch at the moment. The only occasional excitement comes from Bo, Bae, Granlund, Tree or Stetcher. |

prospects-blog/2017-nhl-draft-nolan-patrick-michael-rasmussen-top-bumper-whl-crop/
I trust this site quite a bit more than the dweeb who reported on Rasmussen a few days ago at CA.
Although it was done in late November, he talks about passing ability etc.
Also, how is our PP doing & could we not use a player that actually can shoot the puck & drive to the net? |

Our PP now and who we draft this year don't really go hand in hand. The player we will pick won't have a immediate impact on our powerplay, especially in the next couple years anyway. If anything we have Boeser to look forward to for the PP (hopefully sooner rather than later). |

Aah so you are hedging your bets on a player that supposedly has the same characteristic issues as Rasmussen.
Scoring lots of his goals on PP and concerns about quality of competition when scoring those goals.
