Not a troll post.

But it was documentated that MTL had a scout to watch the last Nucks game, and that Bergevin has gone on record as to "really like" Burrows.

How does he fit into your roster? Bottom 6? And what would be your ideal deal to bring in Burrows?

One would have to assume it would be DD (nearly identical cap hit and expiring contract) and a draft pick for Burrows. 2nd, 3rd?

Habs projected to have 4M cap space at deadline. Yes a deal would have to be creative but not impossible

Bottom 6.

Take DD or Plek.

How about David Desharnais and the Canucks retain 90% of Burrows' salary?

Probably a good reason to split them up... Keep the Danault/Pacioretty tandem together and reunite Radulov and Galchenyuk
- obie

Agreed.

I'd put Lekhonen with Radulov and Galchenyuk because he's pretty good in his own zone. Gallagher with Pacioretty and Danault when he's back. Byron can take bumped up there when one of them gets cold.

That's plenty... Especially considering DD would be easy to move now

No way a team ever wins a playoff round with both Shaw and Burrows in the lineup...They would just be killing penalties all night... And besides, Burrows sucks hard!

Canucks won't make the playoff's so retaining salary (cap permitted) is not a problem on the Canucks end.

I doubt the Canucks take on Plek. I would assume it would have to be DD and a pick. Burrows wants to play for MTL, it might be a decent fit in your bottom 6.

That minor cost is defrayed by the fact that he (frank)ing sucks massive balls.

De La Rose is brutal. Sven appears to have some talent, but it rarely comes out.
