He'll never be a top 6 NHLer, maybe on the PP in front of the net but that's it. He'll be a 3rd-4th line guy with grit and a little offense. - BashCH
never's a big word for sure, but I agree 3rd line and some PP |

I think he's the most likely player to get moved in the next 3 weeks - obie
Probably. Safe bet is he's gonna get traded for Hanzal who'll get hurt after 5 games. |

I'd rather they hang on to him than deal him for Hanzal |

this is a putrid offense - blarneylad
Putrid team all around. Playing a game like that against the worst of the worst is shameful. |

No it's not.... I think they need to reunite Radulov and Galchenyuk and keep Pacioretty and Danault together, gotta get offensive time from more than just the one line...
And McCarron, well M&M is just too slow to have any kind of an impact at this level, it's unfortunate - obie
McCarron between Shaw and Gallagher is something I would not mind seeing. |

If Gallagher is gonna find his offensive game upon returning I would think he would need more creative linemates |

meh, good on Colorado tuning the Habs up, maybe it will give them a shake. Re. Duchene, would you give up the same poop for him that you would for Pleks 5 years ago? Because thats what you're talking about. If Pleks was over rated so is that kid. |

I wouldn't go all-in on Duchene. With of without him the cup is not coming here this year, might as well keep the picks and prospects. |

To answer your question though... I guess the Habs are in a different position now than when Plekanec was producing at a Duchene rate, although I do believe Duchene has more offensive upside and he would be exactly the type of player Montreal is looking to insert into their lineup... With that said, I don't move Sergachev to make it happen... |

If it makes this team contend the cup.
Trade every asset they have.
This is a repete, repete..

This team is already a contender... And they can improve their odds without moving Sergachev |

I think they'd need Price to be something else to beat the Caps and Pitts. The way things are now, they might not get that against the Rangers or TO/Sens. I'm not sure they'll get their poop together in time. Hope they do but am doubtful. |

It's a long season and timing is everything, at their best they can compete with anyone without any major additions... The way theyre playing right now they would get swept by Coach Bombay's Mighty Ducks |

The only true "future" they have is Sergachev and that would be a mistake |
