Id say the system has alot of decent to good prospects without a big time prospect anymore. Kapenen looked really good this year though..

Is there any update on him or Korshkov? Couldn't find anything with a quick google search.

Korshkov was supposed to miss about two months I think, which would mean he would be back around now.

Havent heard much about him in quite some time so not sure. His injury looked like one that a guy never comes back the same from.

Just doing some googling (I don't follow the KHL) - anyhoo, Sportsnet says that Korshkov still has another year of his contract with Lokomotiv, so I'm not really going to worry about him at this point.

How's it look? I'm always a little weary of the quality when people can get them so cheap.

It looks exactly like the real ones. Gotta remember it's a replica. Its half the price for a reason.

Won't be Grundstrom

i have no idea. If we have 2-3 future nhlers among the 16 players hunter drafted (plus matthews, marner and say both nielsen and dermott) that i'll be satisfied with our prospect group.

if not, hunter sucks at his job.

anything more, and hunter is doing a really good job.

I'v already been told the Jays will suck

I don't think their starters will be the best in the AL this year like they were last year and I think their offense should be slightly worse. If their starters repeat what they did last year then they are gonna be a wild card team though. IMHO

They tend to do the opposite of what I think so I think they will suck and miss the playoffs and not win the WS.

Great article to read. The leafs will definelty have a lot of salary cap over the next couple of years. Hopefully they play it smart and with the management group they have, I have faith that they will.

If they make smart moves, the leafs have the corner stones to build a cup contending team. If Tavares wants to come to Toronto, the leafs have the cap room to accommodate.

Trade Nylander for a top 2 young d man. Anyone who thinks that a 60 point 1st year rookie doesn't get that is crazy.

Sign Tavares

Trade bozak and Komorov while there's still value

Bring up neilson next year

Re-Sign JVR (yup)

Extend zaitsev Marner Mathews carrick brown Hyman the goat

JVR Tavares Marner
Hyman Matthews Brown
Kapanen Kadri Timashov
Rychel The Goat lepsic

Reilly Trouba
Gardiner zaitsev
Neilsen Carrick

Yeah last year I said their starting pitching would be bad and then they ended up being the best.

I too think they will be the worst team in baseball now that I think of it. I'm certain of this.

Concerns about Nylander’s consistency and effort

i recall clearly mentioning something along these lines based on his play in the AHL and some ppl on here totally lost their minds about it...

good to see someone else sees the same thing..
