I would agree, yet we know it won't happen.
I actually just read it. What I found funny was he spoke of the high caliber of coaching available right now. Yet Crappy was not included amongst Julien, Hitch & Gallant. Must've just been an oversight on EK's part. - Isleshockeyman
Even if they let Weight finish the year, they should be on the phone with Julien the second the season ends if he's not scooped up before then. |

Ya Julien would be a good coach for this team, imho they can score and have some great dmen so maybe his system would work well |

Couldn't be any worse. The isles D-men would be dominating the league in assists, if turnovers counted. |

My guess is that Snow will soon be contacting Boston for permission to interview Julien. However, with Weight having got the Isles back into playoff relevance, no coaching decision will be made until the end of the season.
2nd Guess: If the Isles fall back out of the playoff conversation, then Snow may pull the trigger on a new coach before the season ends. |

It took 6 years to can Crappy. You really think Weight's going to be gone after a month? Not happening. I would be SHOCKED if another coach got hired, let alone a second one during the season. I hope you're right, but just don't see it with Snow at the wheel. |

This sounds right John. How come Cappy is not the new coach in Boston yet? Roenick thinks he is a great coach. |

Isles hire two coaches in a year?
No way Garth does all that work. If it happens it's all Ledecky. |

Weight's done an admirable job but if we passed on a good coach like Julien simply because of that reason then that would surely be a mistake. - eichiefs9

Even with his awful start, Ladd is only a goal behind Nelson and two more than Bailey. Maybe Ladd is starting to find the groove a bit. - Jethro09

God, yes there is. For some unknown reason they have to speak with a thicker accent than Joe Pesci. Not that we don't have the stereotypical hick/redneck-speaking folks here. Which can be annoying as hell. - Isleshockeyman
You'd love me I speak in a non regional diction |
