Is Paul RomanUK the most irritating announcer...or is it just me? - Reubenkincade
He's awful. Not Jack Edwards level, but pretty close. Most want him gone. Sometimes, not tonight, he seems genuinely pissed when the Leafs score. Also, he gets players names wrong only slightly less often than Bob Cole.
There's actually a petition to get rid of Romanuk and have him replaced by Bowen. |

Be patient, as Booner wisely says, but ensure you deal assets at the TDL to pick up as many picks as you possible can. Building takes time. They've gotta stop with the retool mentality though, that annoys me.
You (not you specifically) can't tell me a management team has a rebuild mentality when they've only drafted once in the last three drafts in the second round. That's a manager looking for quick fixes. - LeftCoaster
*Was* looking to fill an age gap. Filled Age gap. Now says keep picks.

Yeah, i couldn't leave the island quick enough.
Now, I want to be near the big city, but want the kid to have the same opportunities i had.

It's still a crime infested poop hole...I don't miss it at all. The ocean...and fishing yes....the traffic and congestion and that dam ferry...no thanks. Moving to vernon was like a get out of jail free card |

I bet the Canucks are not the only team in sports that's looking to draw inspiration from the New England Patriots' stunning comeback win in Sunday's Super Bowl.

How many times per game do the Leafs give up the lead? Crazy. Great goalie well worth a 1st round pick. |

Toronto may be an exciting hockey team, but they sure are.an adventure in their own end. Wonder.what they would.pay for.a defensive.stalwart like Tanev? |

Unfortunately, unlikely they give us the pick and prospect we'd want given their commitment to rebuild IMO. Don't see why they would do all that rebuild work and then trade picks or prospects for Tanev at age 27 |

This makes sense. Anahiem might want a guy like JVR too, so it makes sense both ways. |

Leafs don't have anything Vancouver will want/need, because I can't see them giving up draft picks. |

Absolutely they do. I think that will be priority number 1 in the offseason |

Hoe many firsts will they give up for a top 4D?
Imagine how they love the Nuck D taking cast off Corrado for a year. |

Theodore is another, they have a lot for sure. I'd love this to be a deal Canucks go after too, maybe really push a Tanev/Edler trade into action. I mean Larsen/Biega are both just taking a roster spot at this point. I'd love a competitive blue line/D-first team, We've never really had one. |

Yeah. Having a solid defense would be nice. It's a fine line right? Gotta have some offence as well. Whatever San Jose and Washington have going on is a team I'd like to watch. Too defensive and you end up with Nashville, Anaheim, St. Louis (couple of years ago) or Minnesota (obviously not this year). Those 4 teams (pre this season) I find hard to watch |
