We got hit pretty good in nanaimo, but its also same old same old for us every year, lack of planning is a bigger issues than the actual weather.

We just plan for the best case scenarios here.....I feel like I've heard that somewhere before.

He's an elite 3rd liner, the only problem is you need to play him like a 1st liner to get him to produce like it

In all seriousness though he has played well this season and that contract makes him look even better. We should be listening to offers on him as well.

It is very central for me to the things I need/like to access. I would like to move back up island at some point but right now I end up needing to be in Victoria and the Mainland a lot for work so it is convenient.

I've never really grown on the actual city but would take anywhere on the island to Vancouver.

Yeah, it's a nice place for sure, still cheap and the east coast beaches there are amazing. Also very good access to the west coast.

Hard to go wrong with anywhere north of Millstream though in my mind.

Maybe this leads to him seeming slow at the NHL level. I always just found him to be behind the play. I don't know, maybe I'm too hard on the guy I just wasnt impressed with his NHL time last year.

I'm talking about Victoria, where 2 inches and the doors close. It's been snowing all day, I was supposed to teach a class/invigilate(if I was religious, I would question my faith during these) an exam tomorrow. Now I'm pretty sure I'll watch Taboo episode 5 in the nude and restrict my self to 3-4 naps.
