From what I heard they planned on selling......they best hope that they don't end up like Calgary a couple of years back.Would be a near impossible sale to sell at the deadline even if it is the best move for their future.That's a very hungry fan base.

They have lost 4 of 5 and given up 5 or more goals in the last 4 games. Then they claim Alexey Marchenko off waivers from Detroit. Babcock clearly isn't happy/doesn't trust what he has on the back end. I think they would be willing to move guys for the right return. For a team like that acquiring as many picks is a good idea. Always easier to trade picks later than players.

Isn't the rule that the team just has to extend a qualifying offer to their RFAs before the expansion draft? That's how it is for goalies for sure, but that's how I've read it elsewhere and falls in line with the whole unsigned RFAs still being eligible to be picked up.

I recall reading that as well. As I recall LV has a certain window of time ahead of July 1st to offer sheet RFA'S so in my opinion I would sign Panic and Rasmussen ASAP. I would protect Hartman and Panic as my other two forwards as we need to have some guys come playoff time that bring the physicality and grit that is needed on your third line to win cups.

yep they start a big long home stand vs the hawks and end it vs the hawks..also will pick up a game or 2 as the hawks get their break...

honestly i think its highly likely the hawks will be down 10 or more points to the wild in about a week...

Swear to god every time i look at a Capitals score they're always winning like 5-0 or 6-0 or 7-1. Been this way for at least 2 months. Their goal differential must be off the charts.

The Sens are 2nd in their division with games in hand over everyone below them (and 3 on the Habs who are 8 points ahead of them). They'll be in the playoff race until the end most likely, so they're not going to move two of their best players. A swap of less established players/prospects/picks is more likely with a team like the Sens.

Zach Hyman looks like a decent player for the Leafs. Wonder if Lazar is out there as some have mentioned?

I think he's fine in zone, it's transitioning that he's got issues. I wouldn't mind him in a lower line role, but I doubt the Jets trade a young player in-division. Don't mean to poop on your suggestion.
