I'd never heard of my morning coat, and probably 99% of viewers would boo them off the stage. Their music is actually my style, but to think they'd be a good fit for a Super Bowl is hilarious.
I think you are missing the point of the super bowl half time show. It's not for sports fans, as they are already going to watch the super bowl. It's for the fans like wives, girlfriends, and yes 12 year old girls who otherwise wouldn't watch. - Scooby_Doo
I was being faceious. My Morning Jacket is not dumbed down enough to spoon-feed the pop starved masses.
My wife hated the halftime show.
Maybe next year they will get The Chris Robinson Brotherhood or Lettuce. |

Gaunce sent to minors - Reubenkincade
Not the worst move. 20+ minutes in Utica vs 7 or 8 in VAN is not a bad thing. |

Do we panic & freak out? I don't have 1040 on so I don't know how I'm supposed to react. |

Meh, he's been the best 4th line guy and one of the better defensive forwards we have. Nice way to reward his play. He's the only waiver exempt guy we have but,
Why claim Boucher if he's never going to play.
Megna has been ineffective on what ever line he plays on and would clear.
Alternatively, the move was to make way for Hutton...
Biega needs one game to be expansion eligible, so keep him but what about....
LARSEN!!!!!!adsghsjkjga lol.
Ideally, the team should have sent Hutton on an AHL conditioning stint.
Oh the possibilities.

Will do him good.
Must be ready to bring Hutton off IR. Or maybe just trying to save a couple $ on cap space.
Also, he recently got his 40 games.in to meet exposure qualifier, for lack of a better term. |

Maybe so...but he has been unable to manufacture 1 goal in almost 50 games...it was time for him to go back down. Even Skilless Magma Chapoo have been able to manufacture some goals. Could this be a lineup move for a big trade for the PO push from Benning??

Boucher got into a game& it was evident he is not in western conference game shape.
Megna at least has speed that is needed on this team
If Hutton goes for conditioningredients stint, then we are stuck with Larsen.
It was the right thing to do. |

I suppose, but generally, 4th line guys are there to prevent goals as opposed to manufacture them.
And no
Though that would be more fun to talk about then the S.B halftime and depth demotions. |

If I was to be completely honest I would tell you that I don't know the difference between Chaput and Magma...That is how little of an impact they have |

You assess that from the 6 minutes he played in one game?
The point was to let Hutton get in game shape, then ultimately sent Larsen down but i agree, it's not a big deal, just somewhat of a head scratcher when Gaunce was the most effective of the Megna, Chapoo, Skille lot. |

You guys must know how Willie works by now....no new guys get a chance until injury. If during you're chance you manage to not get scored on while on the ice you become one of " Willie's special people " which of course locks you in for top line minutes, late game extra attacker and of course ot 3on3 play! It's the golden ticket |

I'm contemplating changing my location to "send'em all to Utica".
I'm fine with Gaunce or any player that won't be exposed to waivers going to Utica.
I can't remember if it was last game or the one before where they showed the teams record with Larsen in the lineup.
I'm okay with sending players like Larsen or 4th liners to Utica, if we need to make room.
(I'm getting ready for a terrible road trip and jumping on the tank, I hope they serve drinks) |

I agree that it is a bit of head-scratcher that Hutton isn't going on a conditioning stint. They never did that with Larsen, Hansen, Tanev or Edler either, so it is not that big of a surprise. |

Ooops.
I fell asleep at the end of the first quarter. Woke up at the start of the 4th. It's just like how I watch baseball. Only need to watch half the game to get the full effect. |

Hutton should spend some time in Utica so we can offer more ice time to Larsen. I'd like to see Larsen wear Burrows A after the trade deadline. |
