To me the biggest thing is that Montana had many all-star players with him consistently year after year through that time. Brady has had a continually changing receiving core year after year and has never had an all star running back. Yet kept putting up insane numbers and wins. Goat.
- Iggysbff

Also this. Montana threw to the greatest wide receiver the game has ever seen. Brady got to throw to Moss for what? Three?

He did have Corey Dillon for a bit, but Dillons best years were kinda over at that point. Pats run game is usually by committee.

Gronk will be back and healthy next year, and I have no doubt that Brady will play for another 2-3 years at least. Although I think if he gets #6, he will retire, having set records that will likely not be touched.

If it wasn't for this guy it would be 1-1.

That play never should've even happened. Two plays earlier Samuel drops an interception that hits him right in the hands in front of his face and drops it. He hangs on the game is over.

I just hate how people always derp about how Eli is Brady's kryptonite or something. Both times that Giants won it was their D all the way and they won in spite of Eli.

I think Tyson (in his prime) would have knocked his head off.
- laughs2907

Nobody knocked his azz out

He fought for like 12 rounds with a broken jaw against Frazier. And he took so many vicious shots. The pain must've been unbearable. And almost won the fight.

He'd go the distance in the most brutal fights. Over and over.
Ali was elderly in his 50th comeback, Had early onset Parkinson's, took a brutal beating for 11 rounds and still didn't get ko'd against Holmes.

He beat guys like sonny Liston and George foreman in their primes who were essentially the equivalent of Tyson in those days. Vicious knockout artists.
He took the best they had to give.

Anybody that loses to James buster douglas ain't in the convo imo.

There's no doubt his political and religious beliefs as well as his charisma is what makes him transcend sport. But even in the ring, Ali was truly the greatest

I'm thinking the Butler pick, and the Edelman catch last night, were the sports gods evening things out.

if true, its terribly blindsided by Chia, setting his targets on someone in particular and will trade a piece no matter if he is leaving value on the table to get it done.

Boyle would be a nice pick up but not at the expense of Davidson

Fact. Brian Boyle is a 32 year old pending UFA Center. Moving Davidson who is 25 and under contract next season at a low cap hit would seem very foolish.

Moving Davidson for a 3C is isnt a crazy ideal, but not for a rental like Boyle, I think thats leaving value on the table
