Exactly right....we are weak in every position and will have years of high draft picks....take bpa regardless of position.when the talent pool gets a bit deeper then draft for needs

Look at teams like Wpg and Dallas that have high end scoring and bad D. You need to take care of your back end first .

The D in Winnipeg seems good on paper, their goaltending is beyond bad. Pav is an upgrade over both.

Looking at ROW, the Canucks win about 1 out of every 3 games they've played for this season and last. That's awful, not a slump.

The capitals are coming on strong! Maybe this is the year they break through.
