This self proclaimed Sith Lord must remain in the shadows but he is not alone. He has one apprentice ....who seems to defend him, fight his battles and laugh at his dumb jokes. They rule their own Empire of hate and self loathing. In pretense of course of being Nuck fans. While they really just want to talk football and trash talk the Nucks and their fans.

He quit because he's not willing to give up control of his financial holding.

"I am deeply honored to have been considered for this post, and appreciate the confidence President Trump showed in me," Viola said. "I offer my continued support for President Trump and his administration, and look forward to re-doubling my efforts to support the Army and its veterans as a private citizen."

Sounds like he's a big supporter of a dictatorial fascist.

Really you buy that... hey I got some swamp land in Florida for you.
Oh and Mad Dog says he'll make sure the army goes to Panther games.

So you don't believe he turned down the post due to financial interests but you believe the Canucks are awesome.

I hope your grade 8 graduation goes swell.

I'm with you in that Patrick is no Crosby, McDavid, Matthews in the sense that he's one of those 'generational players'.

But, i think he could be a 1st line guy. Lots of scouts compare him to Toews and Draisatl in the sense that he's not flashy but thinks the game extremely well.

Luckily, we are nowhere in the state of shambles that PIT,EDM and TOR were. If we could roll:

Henrik
Bo
Pat

Down the middle with D,Sedin, Erickson, Sven, Granlund, Sutter and maybe Virtanen and Boeser along the wings, a first season, 40 pt Patrick could make a world of difference.

Well if he falls that far down or Nucks have a lottery win from missing the playoffs. But don't think anyone in this draft is NHL ready. If he did come into NHL see that on the fourth line for the first year. So maybe it will be:

Bo, Sutter, Gaudette and Patrick down the middle at that point.
LE, Sven, Granlund, BB, JV, on wings maybe Rodin if he recovers and shows what he's capable of doing. Then add in whatever prospects or free agents make up the other 2 spots; or 1 if Hansen is still on team at that point.

That's another Trump twist in logic. You make up more crap then he does. Is your fascination with 8th grade a result of your home schooling? Do you still fantasize hanging out at school with the cool kids? Shame it's a product of your troglodyte obsession of an idealic reality. It's why your obtuse phrases and rehtoric on the Nucks and Nuck fans are so misplaced.

Miller is back on form…we had to know it was coming.
- LordHumungous

With so many days off between games will WD keep playing him? Or give Marky a run to show some magic? Team can't score enough to have average goaltending. They need outstanding tending.

The WD system of tight checking defensive first doesn't work well against fast and big teams with skill. They seem to find a way to score and then Nucks are up the river without a paddle.

Maybe with Hansen's speed more offense can be derived with Bo and LE back with Sutter. Put Burr with the Sedins and play them 3rd line minutes. At least be defensively responsible.

So when you had your tryout as Canuck fluffer, who performed the "interview". JB? Trev? WD? Hank? Aquaman himself?

It's OK, we won't judge.

If Patrick is viewed as a Draisitil or Toews. Only problem with that is then you need a generational talent in Kane or McDavid before you start winning games.

I have seen some compare Patrick to Getzlaf, no "generational"talent playing with him.
You have seen him more than any of us here who do you compare him to.

Sidney Crosby is only 3 points away from 1000. Going to do it, in about 750 games.

I usually say he reminds me of Joe Thornton. Same style of play. He may never get up to Joe's level. I expect him to probably be a 70 point per year player.

I also see a bit of Ryan Johansen.

I remember Getzlaf from back in the day. He was so strong on the puck. Patrick isn't as strong with the puck but has much better hands then Getzlaf ever did.

Patrick's shot really isn't that good. I'd compare it Daniels
