Missed the game. Looks like neuvy stole us a point. A couple of amazing stops. No need to have tk and ghost in the lineup. We can score zero and still get a point.

Hak's wife gave birth to AMac.....then Bellemare....and then VandeVelde just kind of plopped out with the afterbirth. But Hak liked how hard he battled to get out of the womb.

Yeah... felt like this since November. Refused to watch today. Glad I passed. I'll watch the big goalie saves on replay. If these aren't kids you can play thesn trade them for ones you can. Bet Ghost and Konecny can find playing time elsewhere like , you know, with Babcock and the Leafs or anyone else.

AMEN!

You would think a good coach could help assist and teach a player(s) how to over come the issues or problems the player(s) maybe dealing with.

Being that Hak is from the College ranks, one would expect that he would be a better teacher or communicator. I want to see progression, improvement with the kids development.

I understand that it isnt linear, and that there are ups and downs, but benching the kids while players like, Amac, CV and Bellemare are mere untouchables...

Exciting. I for one, am not going to bore myself and watch that.

With the kids sitting in the box and getting to watch the other turds. Let the fools spend their money.

I can't wait til we play the Devils again. The hockey has been too exciting of late. We need to settle things down here. No more riverboat gambling.

6 goals in 5 games (one en) are not going to put me in front of a tv for 3 hrs. I can tell you that
- mayorofangrytown

I wouldn't care as much if they didn't have youth to play.

We've had that for years now, let them develop... Well you have a couple that are able to play now if not giving Laughton and Leier a shot as well at the very least.

I'm not watching a piece of poop product consistently when the organization is doing it to itself. (frank) that.

What players have truly grown under him? Or young players?

Take out Provorov and he's a piss poor development coach at this level. Whole team is regressing with his antics and taking on his identity.

Fair questions.

However, we as fans are not privy to the information management and the coaches are so we can't possibly know which players have improved under Hak...

If Hextall can't see this then he isn't the golden boy either.

Hex has a hard on over all these kids and who other than Provorov has grown? Laughton? Leier? Konec, Ghost?

Hex is letting his own darling prospects down keeping this fool at the helm. Winning percentage or whatever aside, Hak had a better shot at being hired as a HC for another NHL club as he does now.

Hextall knows enough about hockey to know that how just flat out wrong that is.

Yes yes.

Organization does no wrong. Sheep are to stay in line and keep buying the product.

At the very least G should bring back a forward of significant relevance. Clode for a goalie or even a really good defenseman doesn't make this team better IMO.

They struggle as is on offense, getting rid of one of your 2 playmakers all but guarantee you picking in the top 5.

I didn't say the organization does no wrong. No NHL organization is perfect.

Very true.

Fans in the rink seem to be realizing that as well.

Fans at a game are never happy with a loss.

You however, seem to be in your glory.

Prefer a win, but don't mind a loss at this point after all these years. Every loss quickens the departure of Hak and higher draft picks aren't the end of the world.

I'd prefer if they win obviously but having ineptitude shoved up your ass should be a good teaching tool, they just learn far too slowly.

I don't give a rats ass about one or two extra wins. It should be about the kids at this moment.

The writer said Ghost just isn't getting the bounces...that's the difference. Not a very good analysis. Provorov looks fine under Hak just like Marner and Matthews do under Babcock. They are all top talents. Ghost is a freaking mess out there. Konecny I think deserves to be in.

Hakstol is not going anywhere, nor should he be. A 20 year old kid led the team in ice time today.

Couturier is providing better even strength offense than g at this point. Guarantee that top line would be more dangerous with coots on it, or roughly the same. You can have tk take g's spot on the pp next year and put provorov on the unit. If this is what g has become they are in deep poop with that contract. They could keep him but would need to be on a 3rd line getting fed o zone starts
- Just5

Good thing that ES points count more than other points..

Oh wait they dont, he is 9th on the team in points..

Coots has a lot value , this season so far he isnt producing well enough.

I just want to win. If Hak wants to go full Devils/Kings well then get the players in here to do it. Enough with the Dilly Dallying.

What are we trying to build?

100% starts with G but this love affair with Coots this season based on 5 v 5 while ignoring other players production on the PP is ridiculous..

It all counts the same. The Flyers as a team are just simply not a good 5 on 5 offensive team. We can compare one player relative to another all we want, the fact remains that the Flyers are not getting enough from their top forwards offensively. That includes Couturier.

If some of these prospects don't pan out then it is obviously on the guy who drafted them.....it's not like Hextall can stand on his record of trades or free agent signings, he had better hit on home grown talent.
As far as Hakstol....although I can't say I'm impressed, the jury is still out. Today I thought his decisions in OT cost the Flyers the game.
