So I am looking over potential roster exposures for the Expansion Draft, and I think its worth noting that Myers, Pysyk, McNabb and Zadorov have a very good chance of being exposed. I see Winnipeg, Florida, Los Angeles and Colorado keeping 3 other defensemen over them. Winnipeg with Byfuglien, Enstrom, and Trouba. Florida with Ekblad, Yandle and Demers. Los Angeles Doughty, Muzzin and Martinez (this is the one team I see keeping 4 Dman Forbort being the 4th). And Colorado with Johnson, Barrie and Beacuhemin (NMC).

Unless deals are made with Las Vegas, I think Myers, Pysyk and Zadorov will be playing there next year.

Who would you want more, Gostisbehere, Shattenkirk, Montour (Ducks), Hutton (Vancouver) or another D on the market?

i would say Montour, but I don't know ducks would want to move him, and his cost would be lower, I would think

Maybe get another top D and Rist's numbers increase. Maybe he is being played too much and hurting his productivity.

yea there's a lot coming off the books its just weird given the expectations they set out for themselves this year that they would put themselves in a position where they really couldn't do much to stop the bleeding.

Wish we had more wiggle room too, I just don't blame it on GMTM that injuries compounded the issue. Only way I can think of to ultimately avoid the depth issue is to not sign Okposo and get a 4C/2 top6 defenders instead. We'd probably be at the bottom either way.

I wouldn't mind getting Big Z back...he's still young, big, tough and can skate ... and has time to mature...make a trade with Vegas if they get him. Offer up Ennis, or Bogo at 50% retained for '17-'18
