Let's hope not. It would cost too much and he is Kassian x 10 for off ice problems. He is all about himself.

I was totally in favour of acquiring Kane at the start of the season when his stock was down and both Buffalo and the Canucks had hopes for the season.

Now.

Not so much.

Mike Ribeiro on waivers - I see him fitting with VAN or DAL (Spezza injury)

please elaborate on why an overage player, on an expiring contract, would be a good fit for 2 teams that are poised to possibly not make the playoffs. DAL needs D as well..

that's like asking Scooby to elaborate on a post...the answer is trolling, or bored, or waiting for that new nickelback track to drop.

its people that come in here and troll that are such horrible representations of their fan bases. The same reason I have trouble talking to "itsjustarash". complete and utter idiot in other team's forums, but can talk respectively in ours.

Let's bring you up to reality. JB hopes to and they will try as in not sell off team. But not try as in sell off team's future. It's about development.

One GM said that it will not mortgage the future for rental players and that the goal is to get younger/faster (not sure how he fits JB's checklist).
And Dallas has a decent pipeline of forwards, their D and Goalie issues have been well known since the season has started. Why would the put in a claim for a player who can't score on a heavily defensive mindset team like the preds?

If he plays well for VAN you can flip him for a pick at the deadline

I understand that he takes up a roster spot of a developing player - so I see why VAN wouldn't. But, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if they did pick him up. All I'm saying.

Lot's of mutual admiration when one team is dominant over the other. I watched the SJ broadcast last night, and both commentators mentioned several times how the Canucks were a hard working team that never quit, and not to take them for granted.

WD does have the team working hard for sure. Can't really ask more from a coach, can you? Chicken salad from chicken sh...

still only 25 years old too.

Virtanen, Boeser, Kane, Baertschi is a decent core for top six wingers.... probably missing an elite scorer, but maybe one of or both of Kane and Boeser turn out to be consistent 30 goal guys

- Mungo

I know people harp on off ice issues but I see JV and Kane as changed players. Their talent says it could work. They have speed, and scoring ability with their hitting power forward game. It looks attractive for next season. What's the price for Kane though? That's the issue. Maybe off season move. Don't see TDL move as it's too pricy for buyer.
