Without a playmaking C & his soft D not much IMO
Find a better deal for Tanev than a 27 yr old winger wanting a raise.

We need F's that stir the drink until we have set up C's wingers r not going to score as much as some would believe.

Last season was an upheaval of the roster. This season & next not so much.

yep.

I just don't want to see the kid rushed into a role he isn't ready for because the team doesn't have any better options.

would love to see him in our top 6 but if he were to stay with the big club and brought along in the bottom 6, I'd wonder if Utica would be the better option.

can't wait to see how it plays out.

I cannot see how he doesn't make the team tbh.
He is a different style than a JV & will get the ice time he earns.
If its top 6 so be it if top 9 thats ok too.
PP will be his opportunity the way our PP sux.

Boeser has already had two years of playing against young men already.

Like Vesey Stecher Caguila these players are NHL ready

I want it to be so. read some criticism of BB's skating.

If the club isn't expected to be a lock for the playoffs next season, I'm not against him spending time in Utica.

then again, I will likely be pumped to see him in the young stars and training camp and will sing a different tune then.

I'm trying to temper expectations.

'Boeser has been playing pretty terrible for the last month.

Hopefully he can pull it together.

Bo was a bad skater 2 years ago, it can be fixed. I'm hoping he scores goals at the NHL level, nothing else seems more important to this club right now we have no real goal scorers, Baertschi is okay, but will never be more than a 3rd liner/ stinks of Mason Raymond.

Let's hope a winger that can actually put up points will be available in this draft, I'd like to see JB try to draft an NHL ready prospect (like a Tkachuk) we will be drafting 7-17 probably, so there's usually a guy that fits that bill

Maybe we get him in Utica for playoff push this year if ND doesn't go very far.
I know...how dare we burn a year of ELC.
We need offense badly so let's find out what we got before.going into off-season.

BB skating is not that bad to make an issue out of just needs strength training.

Sven a 3rd liner makes me laugh.

A Tkachuk in a weak draft in the 7-17 range made me fall off my chair 😂😂

he will leave college to play professional hockey. Canucks shouldn't be written in stone if he needs time in Utica. But I don't think he will spend much time down there unless he has problems transitioning his game- has problems with the speed of the NHL.

I'm just hoping if he does spend some time in Utica. or starts the season there, we don't have the usual over reaction.

- hillbillydeluxe

maybe…I'm just saying' don't be shocked if he chooses to finish his education.

No need to burn a year on a talent with his potential.
Utica might not even make the PO's.

that city was the only option for the gangs after the nonsense they pulled here. They weren't allowed to operate anywhere else. So they all got forced up there, and thats why PG has the issues it does right now.

It contributes but it's been bad longer than those guys been there.
