You really think Boeser is going to drop out of college so he can play in Utica? I would guess he'd just stay in school and finish his degree. If he's not cashing nhl paychecks then why give up on you're diploma?

If van drafts Liljegren really don't have any need for Stecher. Kind of the same type of player but Liljegren probably has a bit more upside.

Disagree, liljgren has top-pair matchup potential that IMO stecher doesn't. I love stecher, unreal signing by JB but I just don't seen him shutting guys down come playoff time. Top-4 guy that can compete/be in the mix, but top pair guy I don't think so. having watched a fair bit of TL tape, he doesn't really play like Stecher. More like Tanev with better skating/offensive upside

he will leave college to play professional hockey. Canucks shouldn't be written in stone if he needs time in Utica. But I don't think he will spend much time down there unless he has problems transitioning his game- has problems with the speed of the NHL.

I'm just hoping if he does spend some time in Utica. or starts the season there, we don't have the usual over reaction.

He is already Bo's winger next year, so you can bet all blog sites and media outlets will be in hysteria mode.
I hope he gets 20-40 games in Utica next season, it means we have him signed & developing in a professional league.

Tryamkin would be 10 times better a defence man if he wasn't playing with a different person every week. He is probably our best right now.

Beiga and Larsen both suck. We are really starting to miss Hutton and Guts.

I think we need an overhaul. We need to be sellers.

You know no matter how low they finish there are not any blow ups happening. JB has made a lot of changes. He's only into developing team and drafting for future. It takes 3 years avaerage from draft to break in a player. So by then they may move more guys. But we know there will be four retirements at that point.

Come the PO's D like Stecher r specialists with the top 4 D carrying the freight.
To be top 4 D he has to hold his own. Can he? Yes but lots of work to do yet.
Hawks & LAK for example only use 5-6 D to give top 4 a breather.
